This is called wool sucking. I've had a couple of cats that do this. It's a comfort thing. Congrats to you for indulging your kitty. It makes them a better cat. WTG!!

Lol, plenty of cats do that.. I used to volunteer at the Oahu SPCA and plenty of cats do that out of habit. Kneading reminds them of the breast-feeding and mommy-lovin' :D
