What the hell is uPad?

The technology definitely looks cool but I don't think it's usefulness is incredibly revolutionary. It doesn't seem like you can use it while it's charging so why not just use one of those charging docks that Logitech have had for some of their wireless mice for years?

it looks like the one side is like a desk ornament, and when you want to charge the mouse you flip over to the other side. i'm guessing the charging side is like a some kind of conductive material but i'm not sure - anyone know how how the charge is crossing over to the mouse?
