I miss when series were simple like this. Sure they aren't as detailed as they are now, but the story was awesome. :) Sure at times I wish they would update Ramna 1/2 again so that the art is up to date, but no but no one can replace the story of Ranma 1/2. It was my first anime, and it will always be number 1.

I loved Ranma 1/2 as a teenager.

Looking back, I guess it's kind of girly as in everybody loves everybody else (but mostly Ranma) and it's all about some teeny bopper emo drama, but there was also a lot of cool storylines, awesome comedy and outlandish and interesting characters.

Besides, there was a girl in school that pretty much used to make me stupid like Dr. Tofu got around Kasumi and that memory still means something to me.

Getting old sucks.

I feel like ranting so: I just started watching Ranma yesterday, but i think its great, funny, has abit of action (not overdone), and makes me feel like i did years ago, back when i watched Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and InuYasha. I love the classics (all tho I might not know what I'm talking about) they just feel diffrent than the newer animes. The new stuff feels old, not as in its old itself, just that the ideas themselves are old. Thats my rant, i just felt the need to say that.

And the sad thing is i continued watching them knowing that tom would NEVER catch jerry and Elmer would NEVER shoot bugs. But when they first started airing anime on cable that changed everything.....
