@cforssi Taxes on train tickets,till 1965 real estate,fuel, billions collected and spent on Buffalo airport. Tax free fuel for intercity buses, grants to run bus service, free city bus stations for bus lines. Airline handouts of railroad tax money. Presto! No New York Central. Presto! A trillion dollars in imported oil! Presto! the countrys broke! I think the sad joke of a terminal in Deprew will get a coat of paint or something!

@AmtrakFanNEC927 Plans are to junk all the equipment with the next car order. This must be stopped! The cars need to be saved for expanded services. Can you see Amfleet with the windows and lights out rocking along on you local toursit trains at 10 mph?

yeah i read on the forums they sent a sleeping car to the meteor or star, 2 coaches were sent out to the midwest I beleive, and now they have an amfleet baggage. Ridership on that train must be falling, I know I always avoid it and try to take the Empire trains or the Maple Leaf instead

@sasilv1129 Well, the train splits in two along the route and one section goes to Boston and the other to New York. This might be just a section.
