Hi, I thought that was amazing and I dont think you needed more tricks. There are alot of people that can do great tricks but few that can dance and do tricks. I think your fantastic and that was a beautiful routine.
Not bad, maybe next time a few harder pole tricks and less ballet, along with doing a combo of tricks up off the ground before coming back down to look more impressive would improve it, this is a pole dancing competition not a ballet competition remember.
I just saw Felix (Miss Pole Dance Australia 2006 winner) perform the other night and the tricks she can do is amazing.
Over all though quite nice routine, wish I was anywhere near as flexible as you.
Yeh I know I needed more pole tricks but considering I had had 3 operations that year before the comp, that was the best I could do for the amount of time I had to train for the comp. Yes Felix is amazing.
I disagree. It is not a pole trick competition, it is a pole DANCE competition. I have seen many women with no rythm or dance abilities pull trick after trick and it is boring to watch. This was beautiful and mesmerizing. Personally my favorite is the beginning with the carnival music. It brings you into a fantasy of sorts.
Just to let you know that I am fulling trained in Classical ballet, I attended the Royal Ballet School and I have also dance all of the world in such show as the Lido in Paris and have also worked with the Paris Opera Ballet Company. So I don't and alot of others don't feel it is a insult to ballet.
I agree....I love the mixing of the two as well... btw in case others aren't aware those two ballet schools Kim mentions are some of the world's best!
Of course this is not an insult! Dance is an Art and she mixed two dance styles beautifully. Liked or not what she is doing is Art. I am fully trained in dance too, and I really liked, respect and admire to all the exotic dancers that perform like this.
Extremely creative -I love it girls take notice and learn this is what makes pole dancing more fun and interesting...A show of course I'm a guy so I like watching regardless.

Please. Don't attach "ballet" to this routine. It's an insult to ballet. Other than that, wonderful pole dance routine!
