Super Metroid reset glitch for SNES and wii (part 1)

Sometimes it also shows up as red and green.

You can open doors while the VAR beam (Reset Glitch Beam) is activated. Stand as close to the door as possible and VAR acts like a normal beam. The game doesn't slow down because there's not enough room to display the beam shooting, only enough to show it hitting the door.. If you stand inside an open door and face into it, you can fire VAR normally. If you shoot in the door and charge up, then step away from the door, you'll see that VAR is black and white. Shooting the charge crashes the game.

Wait, sorry...didn't know, but Var isn't a glitch...I haven't gotten the Plasma beam in this game.

For anyone who doesn't know, to do the glitch, I think you have to activate everything but Wave and Plasma (not sure about that part, but you do have to have Spazer activated, and possibly Ice) and go to the Hi-Jump Boots. Press Left and A at the same time to activate the Plasma Beam. Plasma and Spazer should now both be activated. A glitch yellow bar appears next to Plasma that says Var with a red dot next to it. Exit the map, fire your gun, and BOOM! The game activates the glitch.

I saw a video where someone went to the Samus Ship in Crateria, went a few screens to the right, past the giant green beetle thing, back outside, and when they performed the glitch there, the bottom half of the screen turned to flickering water.

I do the glitch, then I run through the door and it moves slow for a second, then it speeds up, and my game gos totally black accept for some green crap at the top of the screen. Any other places?

@XRAGINGEAGLEX Start at Samus's ship at the beginning of where you first enter Zebes. Dash right, or use bombs if you don't have speed booster. Now go through the green door. Go through the glass tube, through the room with the green bug enemies, and out the door on the right. There's a room with a missile and water. Go to the right, out through the door on the right side of the room. Outside, turn back, shoot the door open, and the glitch should work here. I saw it in a video.

@XRAGINGEAGLEX Also if it's on an emulator, to save time set A and Left to the same button when selecting Spazer and Plasma. Press that button and they'll both be selected, and VAR appears next to Plasma.

@XRAGINGEAGLEX Another place: Remember the path you took when first arriving on Zebes, to get Missile and Morphing Ball? Go this way. When you reach the bottom of the vertical shaft with the platforms and laser-firing enemies on the wall, just up on the left of the wall is a hidden spot. Go in and go into the door. The glitch should work here. Remember to reopen the door before performing the glitch.

@XRAGINGEAGLEX Also, remember to deactivate the Wave beam or every time you do the glitch, the screen will turn black with the music still playing.

I have a question: How can you get out of Tourain? After I beat Mother Brain, and get to my ship, it goes to the "See you next mission." and I can't do anything else. When I reset, I go back to where last saved.

... u know i pulled this glitch off and got all the first set of energy tanks then i got a few more... and i am going to keep pulling this glitch off to make Samus perpetually IMORTAL... basically "KILL ME IF YOU CAN MOTHER BRAIN U BITCH" heh heh a whol lot of Reserv tanks too. i got 6 reserve tanks right now lol and 19 or so energy tanks

Spin jump to a wall. When you touch the wall (fall a bit if you want to be certain) hold the opposite directional button. Samus' sprite will change and it looks like she is preparing to push off. Press Jump, and you will wall-jump.

uhh... You could buy one from the store or you buy it from wii shop channel. The only things you need is internet with wireless router. If you don't have one, you can't buy any classic games or getting your system update.

What router do you suggest? My router doesn't want to connect to my internet, therefore not trying out my Wii for internet.

Any kind of wireless router will do. If not, then you can buy wifi usb adapter.

Do you know how to combine both spazer and plasma? If so, then you combine everything except wave uncharged. When you ready, shoot and head to door. Be sure you don't shoot toward the door or it wouldn't work right. @RedTop170 Most are, but they disappear around the Weapon icons if you use Select to scroll through them for a second.
