Nice version. People give their opinions about best version though.... The Kinks don't do "a version". It's their song. Their creation, design, vision, imagination, and idea. Its great to build on another's song, but you can't detract one iota from any original especially from another era where technology and hindsight give different perspectives. But you cant better an original. Its an original. Not a copy.

And it will always be so in music or any other art.
