let me try it this way once you say that it is air blasting out with debris and smoke right? well what happen to the air that was already in the lower floors? if it was air from above that was pushed down 3-6 floors below the point of "collapsing" in on itself, then the pure colorless perfectly breathable air had to of gotten pushed down and pressurized. that would mean that on some of the floors below where the debris was somehow shooting down into the lower floors which were structurely sound
through multiple still perfectly structurely sound floors below. the air that was already inside of the building would have to have been pushed down into the floors below and would have built pressure the same way and would have to come out the same way those "pressurized" slow poofs of debris that only came out at the centers of the building. Well I would go out on a limb and say it WAS looped. But as you said this doesn't really prove much, and looping/editing the sound on a news piece is totally normal. But at the same time the way it was looped is a little strange. So to me the verdict is that the audio loop is strange, but not 100% proof of much besides that the video and audio of this piece was edited. And this isn't live footage so who knows.
