If they’re that uncomfortable with the “straight” life, they should seek counselling or therapy for some underlying psychological cause.
3) Furthermore, pot is already “legal” in Canada & 16 American states, for medical treatment. These state governments (& the Canadian federal govt) can even issue cards to people that have validated medical reasons for accessing cannabinoids. There’s obviously no need to make it “more” legal, just so recreational potheads & psychologically addicted users can feed their habit
4) If someone doesn’t have a serious medical reason for accessing pot, then they’re just using the medical bandwagon rhetoric for their own hidden agenda. An analogy would be demanding that prescription drugs like morphine become accessible without a prescription & available on drugstore shelves.
5) Most people using cannabinoids for valid medical reasons don’t want to experience the “high” part of it, or smoke it (as opposed to ingesting it). I have been fighting adhd since i was in the second grade..My parents and doctors decided ritalin was best, but after three years i grew a dependency to ritalin so they gave me concerta. I was taken off all adhd medications when i was 13 which led to bad withdraws..I coudn't sleep, eat, or even hold a steady train of thought. When i was 14 i had a panic attack do to too many thoughts in my head at once. I eventually became a very angry person punching holes in my walls and snapping at everyone.

I have been fighting adhd since i was in the second grade..My parents and doctors decided ritalin was best, but after three years i grew a dependency to ritalin so they gave me concerta. I was taken off all adhd medications when i was 13 which led to bad withdraws..I coudn't sleep, eat, or even hold a steady train of thought. Marijuana is not a " recreational party drug," it is a medicinal herb. I knew Obama was gonna flip. And Paul aint gonna be Prez. Just not going to happen. The best anyone can do is move to states where medical marijuana is legal. Here in Cali The Feds tend to be a problem only if the dispensaries and growers fail to abide by state guidelines. The other issue is that cannabis is too synonymous with the young pothead/slacker stereotype. The Senate would be too nervous to vote to legalize.
