Or perhaps, sherwoode, Moyers is an open-minded person who was interested in presented another side of a very lopsided story. The fact that PBS completed a documentary about Wright and his church 20 years ago indicates that Moyers might actually have a more valid and fact-based opinion than you.

Read Luke Ch 3. After watching his interview at the press club this morning (4/28/08) all I can say is "Thank God he has revealed his true lying nature. It was only the Holy Spirit that revealed who he is, & from wright's own mouth..people MUST go past appearances when voting, white, brown or black...do I think they'll learn anything from this? only not to vote for the lying obama...next time the libs will have to be more careful (like hillary is) not to reveal their true beliefs to the voters

It's been several hours since this interview aired, and there has been almost no mention of it. The reason is that the chicken hearted media is waiting to see how many people watched the interview before they lie/comment about it. Jesus said many controversial things: Jesus called a Canaanite woman a dog (Matthew 15:21-28) and told her she wasn't worthy to eat the children of Israel's bread. Jesus said you can NOT love your father, mother, sister, and brother more to follow him(Matthew 10:34). Jesus became irate and turned over the tables in the temple(John 2:13-16)& threw the money of the money exchangers around the temple. How do we reconcile that as believers in Christ?

Jesus did not call the woman a "dog" read the passage again. He said: "is it not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs!" He was refering to salvation for all even before jews. The Mainstream Media are not Liberal. Conservative Pundits use that to cow them into submission. This is why they present two sides to every argument, even if one is clearly untrue. Stephan, I agree with you. I really think what some people react to are not the words per se--though I don't agree with all of what Wright said--but the tone that he uses. Many people who do not attend black churches are not accustomed to hearing that kind of preaching. America is a country with a racist past. America supported Sadam Hussien in the war against I ran. It supported the Taliban against teh Soviets. So America was complicit in the existence of both.

There are plenty of preachers who have access to the Whitehouse because they kowtow to Bush and don't challenge our society. Wright, who is retired now, is not one of them.
