Gran Turismo 5 is leaps and bounds better looking than any racer you'll find on the PC. Not to mention that the PS3 is more of a dedicated gaming device than a PC can ever be.

Gaming software is what is comes down to and that's where the PC flops, PS3 wins.

Hardware is dirt cheap now, who gives a shit about that as long as it's moderately up-to-date. The real cost comes at developing the software.

GT 5 is a awesome game i think the other game makers will never catch GT because Gt has a VERY BIG projection ...

they made the SLS in 6 months/weeks that is awesome

at the start from ps3 ther were no games for ps3 ( the games was for xbox/windows technology NOW they start to make games for CELL TECHNOLOGY ..i want to see the graphicvs 1 year later i think i will say WOOOOOOOOOOW )

DONT FORGET the graphics from cryengine 3 are best on PS3 (the makers said that said couldnt make a good dynamic shader on pc/xbox because they have not enough power

gt 5 P uses only 30_40 % of the ps3 power and you cant play this game on pc ( maybe yes if you have a high high end pc for 2000 dollars )

i want to see a game that uses 100% off the ps3 power !

ps:i saw a 10 min long video from cryengine 3 ,the makers from crysis said that we have the best graphcics on ps3 ( dynamic shaderr is so rea lyou will never have a dynamic shader from cryengine 3 on pc maybe 3 years later lol haha )

i saw a research lab in usa they used big servers (12) for their work and now they use only 3 ps3s (they changed the power,now they use the power for their work and not for graphics :D )

and pc boys.... go watch srt's review of forza 3... that is the most giddy I've ever seen the most well known pc simracers on youtube. Sorry but you have nothing even close to forza 3 or gt5. And at best you have a few good racing series... but as far a games with a library of real world cars you've got nothing.

Iracing has no AI and you have to pay monthly. Walk into bestbuy and what racing sims can you buy for PC other than simbin?...... 0. Yup 0. I'll give you every other genre, but PC is now WEAK for racing games.

Well.. When games are created for one console only, they are better than all others. The PS3 will always perform better than a PC because it was created for a main purpose of gaming.. The PC was created for work.

Why are we comparing a PC to a PS3 anyway? The PS3 is powerful as hell, it has potential, hopefully games like Gran Turismo 5 and The Getaway 3 (expected to use same engine) will show what the PS3 has to offer.. I'm all for the PC, good fun to build.. But the PS3 is a nice multimedia station. Also, take into consideration the PS3 is 4 years old and you're comparing cards of todays standard to the PS3's power.

They're dedicated for gaming, as are multicore CPU's. PC can be whatever you want it to be. It's how you spec it.

As for the PS3 vs PC...........don't start with this. PS3 is already dated, just compare Crysis on PC and then on PS3, the difference is enormous.
