@nickjoy16 Are your subs bridged? Is your amp powerful enough? Or do you have your amp turned up too much? If your bass boost is turned up too high, it may cause your amp to over heat... and that may be your problem.

OH COMMON!!! THINK EVERYONE!!! Its a malibu!! That's as low as you can go. Slow, ugly, awful, and poorly engineered. I drive a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX (AWD) :) Turbocharged, headers, cold air intake, and some other cool little things. The reason I came here was to see what kind of system's they're but I was disappointed because of this video

Proves how much you know, even if my Eclipse was stock it would still be faster then your car. The 1997-2000 engines in the malibu had a 2.4L TwinCam LD9 I4 engine producing 150hp and 155torque. My GSX produced 210hp and 180torque when it was stock. Not to mention its AWD not FWD. There's only one way it would be 'fast'. If your malibu has a V6 engine which still only produces 170hp. I still need to do a dyno run, which I'm guessing will be between 300 to 400hp, who knows :)

Buddy are you retarded...CAN YOU READ... and you know nothing about cars, A Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, when stock has a 210 hp (160 kW) turbocharged 2.0 L 16-valve DOHC Mitsubishi 4G63 engine, its also all wheel drive and lighter then the malibu. That's way faster then the Malibu smart stuff, jeez how retarded can people be, read my comment before this so you can learn, you clearly lack it.

if your going to argue that case try whatching pinks. your point doesnt add up whe a car that produces 500 hp kills a car producing uver 700. i own a 2000malibu all stock minus the exhaust. it has the v6 3100. and it kills my friends eclipse. granted its the base model low as you can get eclipse but still... smoked it. the only prob wit the malibu is the factory limiter shit.

I don't fully understand what you're saying but check the specs, if it were against a stock GS-T or a GSX there's no way the Malibu could "smoke" a 210hp stock eclipse. The Malibu is a lower powered car which is A LOT heavier then the eclipse, sure some cars with less horsepower can beat other higher powered cars but the Malibu is just brutal. It was probably a GS/RS model with only 140hp. I would say more but I got a limit on how much I can spell

You know what I think I'm going to continue with info about a stock Eclipse GSX/GS-T. The only difference is that the GS-T is FWD while the GSX is AWD. Anyways a GSX is a turbocharged engine producing 210hp with a torque peak of 214lb.-ft.(I was wrong in my previous post) at 3000rpm meaning a real FAST acceleration(the Malibu is somewhere at 4000 because the lack of a "turbo". Malibu (V6 fastest) hits 16.5s on a 1/4mile while the Eclipse GSX/GS-T hits 15.1s. You were obviously against a GS/RS
