Im not a cop, yet. By the end of 2011 I should be but i have some tests to take first and they are only given once or twice/year. I live in the boonies the biggest town within an hour is barely 3000 people. Police are always useful you just havn't needed them yet. Once you do you'll be happy they are there. We have had a few towns in the area drop their police departments and rely on the sheriff to pick up and their crime has sored since. Even a 50 person town needs cops.

i got the hang of it on the second window but i acidently trimmed off the bottom before i put the window up to tuck it so there is a 1" gap on the bottom LOL

People don't understand, dont black everything out all willy nilly. You have to work your Gradients. For example if you want to get that smoked out look you would have to mix your tints. Back Window can be 5% the two back passenger windows can be 5%-20% front driver side and passenger can be 20%-35% and my windshield is 35%. When light hits it, it looks clear but in dusk surroundings it gives it that 5% look. Just work your gradients, and there is NO Permit for TINTS. Just cops Pet peeves 4 tix

Whoever told you it's 1% lied to you. The seller probably knew the actual tint % was illegal and sold you a product that can get you into trouble.

@mifan93 if its a true tint % that they check on a meter, you can hardly see out with 10%, 2.5% is pretty much a black out except for on coming headlights

People don't understand, dont black everything out all willy nilly. You have to work your Gradients. For example if you want to get that smoked out look you would have to mix your tints. Back Window can be 5% the two back passenger windows can be 5%-20% front driver side and passenger can be 20%-35% and my windshield is 35%. When light hits it, it looks clear but in dusk surroundings it gives it that 5% look. Just work your gradients, and there is NO Permit for TINTS. Just cops Pet peeves 4 tix

@CybertronianSCAR actually i do have a medical exemption for my tint...and i use it every time i get pulled over and the troopers/ local cops that i show it to know alot about them and cant legally write me a ticket.

@a1ex1990 Well that's good, But i was clarifying that there are NO PERMITS for tints. If you have a clearence from your physician that thats good. I'll probably do the same for myself.
