  • Question, how did the dog know to attack the rag and not bite anywhere else.

  • @Ultimate007Trini In personal protection, the dog is not taught to bite the "rag" or burlap. The agitatiors job is to give the dog what he wants him to have. That is why in the dog world it is called catching the dog. You simply present the dog whatever you want him to hame. If nothing is presented, then the dog will bite whatever is available to him. But also remember that this was a very young dog and is being taught the very basics. It progresses from there. I hope that helps

  • One word awesome

  • That is AMAZING!! I have a pitbull terrier puppy, he is about 6 months now. I have successfully trained him to sit on command, and to sit and stay until told to eat when its feeding time. I have a problem with getting him to come when called like if he is in the kitchen and I have to keep calling him or out in the back yard keep having to call him to come back in to the point where I have to go get him. I would love to have him trained like that that was amazing.

  • thats how i want my dog

  • thumbs up for this video

  • That is really impressive

  • yeah only if they'd broadcast this on the news

  • a black man with a pit bull....hmmmm lets see. they don't look like drug dealers to me. the dog doesn't look or act like a loose cannon. they're not speaking ebonics. ok i get it....this must be a you tube fake!!! yeah thats it!!! thats the ticket!!! No, this just goes to show you that an intelligent and responsible dog owner (black, white etc..) is the driving force to a well trained and functional pet. reguardless of breed. good job my brothers and keep up the good work!!!!

  • You can tell they're great owners!

  • rock solid stuff demo - mad control

  • Amazing, a level of stability in work hard to find even in GSDs, keep up the good work!

  • Very impressive, highly intelligent dogs with amazing training. Great work

  • Great work, I love how the second dog released and jumped into his arms haha!

  • woooooww goood..

  • NOW THATS HOW IT SHOULD BE.....

much much much love and respect to u guys for posting diz video............

    SICK ASSSSSSSS VIDEO EVER!!!!!!!

  • beautiful dogs and trained extremely well. Ambassadors of the bred. Bravo.

  • nice

  • Awesome video! Very beautiful dog.. I love to see someone professionally train a dog instead of some back yard guys thinking there tough! hehe

  • EXCELLENT training my man. A true protection dog. 100% control and excellent courage on the dog. More protection videos should be shown like this. The "only biting" videos show nothing more than junk yard animals used by amatuers that are huge liabilities. Awesome job guys.

  • i have a 11 month pit and german Shepherd mix, very loving and affectionate, i was wondering could his age affect him listining to me, cause at home hes great, outside he dosnt listin, when would be a good time to start attack training?

  • this is amazing i just got a baby pitbull and i wanna train her to be the best dog

  • where you guys are from am interested in train my.

  • i personally prefer a good training pit bull that have guns in the house with kids

  • A moral trainer would NEVER train a pit bull to attack like this. It furthers the stereotype of the breed as a vicious killer. SHAME on anyone who would use this gentle loving breed as an attack dog just to make a buck off gullible people who can't handle them. Now I can't own one; thanks to greedy men who use a dog to replace their masculinity, the breed is banned, and this video shows why. You think this dog can be trusted around children after you've ruined it?.

  • @notreallyjordan Clearly you didn't watch the video. These dogs are trained to protect their owners. These are Protection Dogs; like the title of the video states.

Mr. K-9 is a professional training team and clearly have trained the dogs to be working dogs at some point after training is complete. These dogs would not be released to just anyone. Clearly, with the wrong owner these dogs would be a liability. No one would argue that point. However, they are not going to end up that way.

  • @notreallyjordan A pit bull does not need to be trained to attack people. It will instinctively attack at its own discretion if and when it feels it is necessary to protect its owner. A pit bull is a very stable dog, it does not just attack people for no reason. By training a pit bull as in the video, you are not teaching it to attack 'cause it already knows how. You would just be teaching it to do it on command, and most importantly, to stop the attack on command.

  • @notreallyjordan Also, the purpose is to provide protection in this fashion but only as a last resort. By your comments, I don't even think you watched the whole video. As for the banning of this breed in some states, that's too bad and greately the media's fault. Quite often, a non-pit pull dog attacks someone and right away the media says there has been another pit bull attack. Then, later you find out it wasn't even a pit bull..............

  • @notreallyjordan ..... Irresponsible owners who do not educate their dogs are also to blame! A perfectly trained pit bull is always safer than one that doesn't let go of his prey on command! And if you think this dog (on the video) can't be trusted around children, then, that just goes to show how much you still have to learn about pit bulls. This dog is not a vicious killer as you wrongfully stated, and it's not ruined but improved! You should watch the video again openmindedly

  • that is professional!

  • There are a lot of stereo types about Pits but they are really nice dogs naturally. Ever dog can be vicious its up to the owner to teach the dog discipline. If your a good owner and not being stupid and trying to fight these dogs then they will never be vicious. We are going to be getting a striped tiger pitbull in February.

  • I love you guys for showing that pits are not like what people think they are!

  • @nueveforever SHUT YA MOUTH, pits are deadly and dangerous.

  • @Ultimate007Trini I bet your dog can't even do a trick that this dog knows. =)

  • realy amazing!

  • Wow, thanks for the motivation! I've started protection training with my Malinois just because she has the drive, but I also have a big oaf of a Dogue de Bordeaux/Red nose cross that just may be able to learn. I had never considered it until now! Beautiful dogs, wonderful training. Fun to see the pitties in action! Thanks for the video!!

  • ripped motherfucker !! (Y)

  • great video

  • Excellent,

  • What kind of training has the second dog? ipo1?

  • this video is pointless the dog already knows how to do the commands, take a dog that is untrained.

  • @mQtek I'M not understanding your point. He didn't always know what to do. He was born knowing what to do. He was trained. I think the point is showing a finished product. Point #1: He started untrained. Point #2: Now he's trained.

  • @dmwilborn So you're saying that the point of an Instructional video is to show that the dog already is trained? What are you, a fucking moron?

  • @mQtek I don't do the whole fight over the internet stuff, so the name calling and the cursing aint my game. I was responding to your comment that said "take a dog that is untrained". I was asking what was your point? Take a dog that is untrained and do what?

  • @dmwilborn are you really that stupid? Like really? I've said it twice already, you moron.

  • @mQtek Its not an instructional video. He does not explain or instruct how to get the dog to do anything. He is showing what the dog is capable of. I'm pretty sure the point of the video is to show that the dogs that are very badly stereotyped in the media is not what the publice is led to believe that they are. I'm pretty sure he is telling that these dogs are just as intellegent and capable as any other breed of dog.

  • very well done

  • are all pitbulls like that

  • @rocknroll576 its all about the owner !! if yu train your dog for protection it will be like that :)

  • @xdirt3 well the problem is i live in egypt so there are not lots of good trainers there

  • @rocknroll576 uhm ! try to train it yourself there are lots of ways and tutorials

  • That 2nd dog was excellently trained!

  • I have a question for you expert dog trainers. This is exactly what I want when I have a dog. A well trained companion and protection dog. However, I have a question regarding other dog breeds. Can a komondor be used as a personal protection dog? It is said they are one of the best protection dogs, but are independent and dont obey all the time. Can they be trained to act like these dogs? Thank you.

  • @DihydrogenMonoxides First of all, I have no idea where you would find a real working Komondor. You would have to travel to Eastern European countryside and talk to some rural hick breeder. That breed was ruined 50 years ago by the FCI, and are the specimens that exist now are worthless. Secondly, the flock guardian breeds cannot be trained for things like this. They are independent thinkers, and what's more, they are utility animals, not pets. They are in it for themselves, not for you.

  • These trainers are on it for sure!! And what beautiful dogs!

  • It's amazing how obediant these dogs are, where would i be able to learn the techniques to do this? My pittbull is almost 5 months, sometimes if i start barking at her she'll start barking and go into an aggresiv state, but if i call her in a sweet voice she'll immediatly switch to play mode. Am i going about this wrong? Any tips on how to train my dog like this woul be very helpful! thank yu!

  • @YoungBandit92 If you are looking later on to get the dog involved in personal protection, then it is certainly not the way you want to go about doing it. 1st when the dog is barking @ you she is not being aggressive, it is really just play for her. However, you do not want to ever play with your dog that way. You never want your dog thinking that it is ok to become aggressive with you. 2nd You never want to play with your dog to think that protection is a game. You may need it for real one day.

  • excelent trainers.

  • yow mi want fi know how to do dem style deh wid a pitbull

  • how do i train my pitbull like that ?

  • How do you get your dog to be aggressive on command? What is the power word/ how do u get them to respond to it

  • HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET YOUR DOG TRAINE JUST LIKE THAT??? AND HOW OLD IS THE PERFECT AGE TO START TRAINING HIM???

  • i bout to get a pitbull and train it like that

  • That is the most well behaved dog I have ever seen, awsome video!

  • Very nice work guys.

  • Amazing training! I don't have dogs, but I'm tired of the reputation pits have. They were used as nanny dogs not long ago. I guess bad=ratings on TV. Keep up the great work training dogs and teaching others what a pit is all about!!!

  • that first dog is the most obidient dog i have ever seen props to the people who tranied him how can i enroll my dog in training and how much money is it going to cost me please let me know i have an american pit aswell

  • @PUEBLO707 i know someone who has 25 years of dog training and he was a k9 swat team instrcuter he's name is darrly payne of pawfection google him up but he is locted in florida he teaches owenrs and there dog's he just began teaching protection dog training and search and rescue and narctios detaction and termine and therapy he in my opinion is the best traniner in the world google him and contact him my dog is inrolled in these progames my dog is half american bulldog half red nose pit

  • Great Work! My dog is gonna need to learn all of that!

  • If you're out in California check out the "urban dog whisperer" out of Oakland - his name is Jas Leverette. Search for "calik9"

  • These dogs are amazing, I want one

  • amazing trainers

  • i wish they had training like this in california to train my pit

  • Can you make hand signs in competition in america? Im from Sweden and here you loose points if you as much as move your hands or engage in eye contact with the dog. Vocal only!

  • @Simbstah In america, the judge will cut your point really deep if you do any movement or signal (even raising your eyebrow)

  • your love for this breed is obvious in that you handle them very carefully and cover your six with the socialization after a putting the dog in defensive drive and then aggression. One thing that i noticed is that you might want to work more on a full bite and letting the dog have the sleeve after wards. Keeping the dog from the sleeve builds frustration. Good job on the handling

  • I am very impressed, it's good to see professional brothers doing it the right way. I am very proud of you guys, keep up the good work!!

  • Brilliant, simply brilliant! I have two apbt and I have them trained to the teeth just like this video. Magnificent breed I wish this would be aired on television to show ppl its not the dogs just idiotic unfit pit bull owners. But once again outstanding show of obedience

  • great job !

  • We rescued a pitbull 9 weeks old She is very aggressive i know the diffrence between playing and trying to rip your hand off! I have 3 kids and she bites them alot i know she is just playing. However other times she really is aggressive the hair stands up on the back of her neck growling trying to bite i mean really going nuts! It takes a few mins of holding her down before she calms down!! this happens at least once a day. Oh and she does not like other dogs at all. What can i do to stop it?

  • @aveyyoung be careful coz it bites! If i'm in ur place I wont keep him.

  • @aveyyoung in my opinion if you have a backyard you should go out and grab a tire and just let it play heavy make her tired maybe is doing that cuase is depress if you keep it inside the house without doing nothing that energy is there they have to be active and they havwe to take that agression on something else then after it will be tired that is gonna say nah kid i'm tired :) or send it to one school like this one like i said my opinion hope i help

  • wonderful!!! how can this type of obedience be accomplished minus "professionals"?! I have an APBT who is certainly a family dog (I have 5 children) but this type of training is essential to protecting them (and my wife)!!!

you guys did a wonderful job!!

  • good stuff i see that he stays on the left side and the trainer starts to walk with the left foot etc... my trainer told me not to say good boy because its over stimulation

  • That was amazing. I would love to meet you and your trainers. That was significant skill work with those dogs. I train all my dogs, and would like to learn a bit about protection training.

  • i don' want to meet a dog like that i don't want to be near a dog like that unless i am his master

  • WAW!!!

  • I'm about to add a Pitbull puppy to my family Oct. 2011.

    I'm in Philadelphia, Pa.

Do you know of an obedience training service at your level of quality, in my area?

  • @Imasexyblkman LOL oct 2011

  • truly amazing!! excellent work

  • Simply AWESOME!!

  • Great work.

  • Im a huge dog enthusiast, and this is some of the best obedience/protection training ive ever seen. Amazing work.

  • at 1:07 why you correct the dog when you ask him to sit and for recall at 1:13?

  • @cybertourniquet that dog was new, in any dog training sit means sit and come means come. You don't say it twice. I have read this in several dog training books. If the dog doesn't do what you ask the first time you make it happen. If you don't your dog with all ways have the notion that I don't have to listen to her right now. And when dealing with aggression training that is NOT an option. come means 2 second ago and they should act as such.

  • @M3lala91 sit means sit and come means come, I am agree with it. But.. what I see in this video is, the trainer / handler giving the command and correction at the same time. I always give one or two second delay after the command before the correction given if needed. Don't get me wrong, I made mistake doing what she did and the result: the dog associate the correction as a part of the command and it can get worse if you use e-collar. So in my opinion, the dog should get basic obedience training

  • @cybertourniquet He didn't specify how new he was but if the owner gave him the correction he more than likely has issues with the coming from a down to a sit and the come afterward that and he seemed a bit distracted with the noises going on. Since he is in aggression training I don't think they want him to believe he can ignore his handler just because he got distracted. I really think it's just because he's in aggression training though. Bullies really like testing your limits lol

  • @M3lala91 Voila... Engagement, Focus, and socialization (neutral socialization) (see Michael Ellis).

  • @cybertourniquet I say what ever works. It's really up to the owner which training route they go and not every dog reacts to all training methods. It has to work for you and your dog.

  • @ NoWayFolding. Wow your stuck in bit of a spot there arnt you. Firstly its not your fault the dog got out. The owner must ensure people of the house can come and go without getting stuck with the responsibility of keeping the dog in. Really the only way I can see it would be for the dog to be yarded somhow away from the main stream area of the property entrance/exit. And by the way, the dogs desire to attack other dogs will only get worse from here on. Be careful its unpredictable !

  • The obedience work on the second dog looked great!

  • Those dogs are trained very well, you've done an awesome job.

The Pit Bull gets a bad name because all to often the wrong people tend to own them. Its also those owners who dont house them corretly and often find the dog escapes and mauls the kid next dog. Its for this reason I tend to think that one should need a licence to own this type of dog. Sorry thats just my opinion.

Great display of training here tho. Keep it up !!

  • @Sallybunckle yeah. I am living with a friend who owns a pitbulls. Its really friendly with humans. Never bites and is friendly, however it has some real problems with the other dogs in our area. Whenever it has the chance, when we unlock our front gate to the driveway, it tries to get out and attack these dogs. Today for the first time with me it got out, and attacked the other dog. Now my friend is really angry at me, because he managed to get out. What should I suggest he do?

  • Nice training

  • very good video!

  • @ 6:45 Looks like the guy's shirt on the right has been through quite a few training sessions lol

  • wowwwww........that is amazing. i hope all the people who gives these dogs a bad reputation watch this very carefully.

  • awwwwh hes so small, how cute!

  • what type of breed is the 1st dog?

  • @BiGDaNBoRiCuA I cannot be 100% positive, but it looks to be an American Pitbull Terrier. The second dog looks like an American Bully.

  • @BiGDaNBoRiCuA they are both pits...

  • do you sell dogs already trained

  • Comment removed

  • Great job

  • im havn problems training my dog suggestions

  • nice very nice excellent im still learning my dog

  • i hate a purebred staffordshire thatw as abused as a pup.

when we rescued him with me a 13yo girl and he was 4 after about a yer he was liek this wiht me with no training. even when agressive pitbulls were growling runnign wild in the neighbourhood.

he was amazing i loved him so much

  • This is the best training you will ever see. If you notice that in the background their are kids walking right by the dogs while being trained that just proves that these dogs are good nature dogs its just the people that have them that are BAD.

  • Like the way the dogs turn on and off...good job..

  • OUTSTANDING!!!! WHO ARE THESE GUYS??!!

  • IMPRESSIVE!!!! I like this video and 11 week old "Viper bulldog" obedience and protection training.

  • A W E S O M E

  • Hey Mr K9 wonderful video it kind of remind me of the Jones Method which i see you are wonderful at it! Please keep up the wonderful work and dont stop GOD bless, You are really showing how protection work suppose to be!

  • I love how the dog jumps straight up when released.

  • Awesome job fellaz

  • Amazing pitbulls... can you help me how to train my pitbull behave like this dogs???

  • I would rather let him be free... I know he's gonna annoy me very much and going further I'll repent why I led him be free but yet I'll not regret what I did.

    I need a dog not a robot.

  • @sodatta11 dogs are happier when they can release their enerygy in a positive way and know what to expect..this does that

  • @CreazioniPinnacolo

I did not get it... what do u mean???

  • @sodatta11 means trained working dogs are happier than lazy sit around the house with nothing to do dogs.. lol

  • @CreazioniPinnacolo

that's what you think...your periphery is limited to what you have heard from others and convinced yourself...seems like you must be very much familiar of dogs before being so convinced that dogs are happier the way you like them to be...

we all enjoy freedom and with that we be the best at what we are so do the living beings.

  • @sodatta11 dogs are pack animals. dogs that have a strong leader are the happiest. the dogs that sit at home alone all the time. might be content, but play with them.. (which is a job) and see what happens

  • @CreazioniPinnacolo

When I was a kid I wanted a dog so I had one... completely untrained...I still believe that he was one of my best friends of all time. I don't know know how better could have been a toy for me as you believe thats what their job is.

though I partially agree with you, A dog should be trained enough to understand whats harmful for him. This is the only part that I regret about my Lobo being untrained... someone poisoned him to death... :(

  • Thats so cool i love it at 5:33 how the dog just jumps and he catches him

  • do someone knows who is the owner of these dogs i mean (the big guy with the big dog)

  • excellent!!!!! need my femalle to be like that..lol hopefully soon

  • now this is really what i like to see. i have a protection dog myself but unlike the pitbull he doesnt have a commercial image of being dangerous so it is a shock to people when he becomes aggressive on command. but the control that you have over them dogs is amazing. keep it up!!

  • If you look carefully, you will see that a) the dog is often looking away from the trainer... b) the "recall" is initiated by tugging at the leash (so the dog has to come to avoid being strangled... c) the "picking up" is also done by strangling the dog... as is the change of direction... d) the dog is encouraged to be aggressive.

The animal is demonstrating an array of calming signals and is visibly stressed... Using a neck collar to "correct" a dog harms a dogs health.

  • @Trovatore75 I see on your page you have a shetland sheepdog. Guess what, you don't train pit bulls the same way that you train shelties. Stop acting like you are some all breed training expert when you're not.

  • @bank80 cock!

  • @Trovatore75 Obviously you got no clue what a "Power Breed" requires to become a stable, obedient and most importantly "controlled" companion. in in rebute of your statement.... a) The dog is looking away, which immediately points out its calm submissive mood...b) The tug is during "training" to impose upon the dog "Mucle Memory and Recall" it is never in danger of stragulation... c) It is not being strangled, it is no different than grabing your arm to spin you around to get your attention

  • @Trovatore75 most important of all.....d) The dog is being taught to Guard and to Obey. The training here is significant to teaching someone how to Box or Fight in a Ring, when it is not neccessary to do either it simply is not an act that is done. The dog is not being encouraged to be aggressive, it is being encouraged to Obey all commands by its Master (Owner). Dogs of these type (Power Breeds) are not ones for people like you, you should go more with a Goldie or a Dachsund.

  • @TeddyB1030 dachshunds are pretty tough dogs i resent that comment

  • @TeddyB1030

how long does this program/training take to get to the advance level?

  • @TeddyB1030 dachshunds are vicious man... why would u suggest a gold lab than a weiner dog on the other hand? completely different uses and temperament id say GSD and lab are a better comparison for that statement : S if your trying to talk temperament

  • i wish yal were n atl

  • dis is ay really good video of training dats how im tryna train my dog the right way thanks for the video

  • Wow - I have so much respect for what you do. Keep up the good work of improving the Pitts image!

  • The dog looks so unhappy! He's doing everything he's doing because he has been forced!

  • Amazing!

  • That was great!

  • GREAT VID!!!

  • Excellent job! What awesome dogs! Can't wait to have my own pit or amstaff! Best dogs ever!

  • God bless you and all that you have done for the breed.

  • u really hit the dog?? excellent job man... I would really love to have a dog like this... beautifull dog...

  • excellent ...

  • I love the way that APBT turns on, he looks very intimidating with the jumping. His control looks great too. Excellent training keep it up.

  • To answer ZombieSlayer762 question. No they don't become mindless machines. You have to make the training fun, so that they want to do it. You are not looking to create a robot, in fact when we are not training he is just a regular dog. You want the control reliable so when you need it, its there. The person and dog in the video is me. He was a rescue out of animal control in Hammond In. I picked him up on his last day, he was scheduled to be put down and he was already 1.5 yrs when I got him.

  • ...i love pits...ppl suck...they should kill the owners when their pit bites, not the poor dog!

  • my question is, if you train your dog like this, will they become a mindless machine that doesnt want to play or act like a dog anymore?

  • Great looking Pit.

  • try telling a pit with the taste of blood in its mouth to actually stop biting its almost impossible you either gotta kill it or burn its nuts off so it could let go. seriously! but impressive :) good fucking work and patience on that training!

  • Please train my dog... you guys are awesome!!!!!

    I am serious!

  • simply overwhelming... I'm from India and I had a lewd impression about the pitt. The reason is bad owners and worse press. I knew that no dog could have a savage mentality. This is too good... Could this be done to a Fila?

  • Americans have a long way to go before we can breed a well balanced K-9 for work. But these dogs exemplify a positive step towards a legit working breed that is American breed.

If we continue in this direction, we may be able to actually win competitive shows and even start a few successful bloodlines that can compete against the Europeans and other countries.

  • MzTexasRaised, and everyone else. I'm fully aware of the branching off of, from what is APBT, Truth be told I could give a rats ass =). Theirs only one APBT, and that's APBT that came from Game bloodlines, tried and tested.

With that said, They really need to start reclassifying this breed and assign a new name for this breed.

BTW, Im very impress by your spell check capabilities on how to spell pitbulls, or what ever the hell they call them. My intrest is in German Breed working dogs

  • @aky19832001 LoL @ Spell check, it's called Common Sense . Anybody who knows anything of this breed, can atleast spell the Breed right . You stick w/ ur German breeds & stop acting like you know what you talk about .

    LoL @ 100% Rednose ( cracks me up )

  • amazing stuff guys.

  • Para todos los que nos gusto tu video, seguimos esperando mas videos de tu trabajo, nuevamente felicidades.

  • Wonderful video!!!!

  • very impressive these k9 boys aint no joke..

  • I'm relativiely sure that the First one who was a bit nervous was a cross between

    "Rednose" and " BlueNose pitbull"

The second one looks to be 100% rednose, if he were to be mixed with another bloodline of pitbull its hard to tell.

But truth be told even thought both are classified as Pitbulls, they are far from the original standard of what a pitbull should look like. They are over sized,
