  • Soon the Bluefin will be gone, wiped out by us.

  • Ever.

  • This was no more tuna for me...

  • in Denmark tuna cost 55 USD / kg = 57 kg = 3135 USD - its CRAZY!

  • I like the dog...Hey i wanna see i wanna see whats going on..Whats that.. Roof...Hey whats that can I see...Ohhh...Rooof Roof..Bow Wow..Wow..Oh..

  • Looks like they used bing translator

  • ok i got it... the 0:51 statement means - I got a bite. The fish was super pissed off.

  • Great guys love the fishing dog too!

  • What the hell kind of hook is that i meam really

  • If you didn't understand the senetnce at 0.51, read the japanese. Next time you catch a fish on video, please provide perfect japanse and show us the differance.

  • welldone brothers

  • nice fish

  • fuck guys, you're torturing it... Do not fish tuna if you don't know how to do it...!

    ok..?

  • @gustavlp your mother smells like tuna

  • nice catch

  • jammy tuna taste great

  • If I load my size 50 reel up with 80lb mono is that line strong enough to catch big tunas? I guess my drag would be like 20-25lbs?

  • @aaadddaaammm777 yea... why wouldnt it be... by the way skip the mono a go with braid... w/ fluro leader

  • @aaadddaaammm777

I think it would be. I have the tiagra 50 wides with 80# test. I usually keep the drag around 18lbs at strike and it works fine until you get much bigger fish. We were fighting a 500+ pound thresher for about 3 and a half hrs and it finally broke the line because its tail was hitting it the entire time.

  • why is he usin a reel like that

  • the dog can't wait for his sashimi to be landed..... LoL......

  • Nice vid and nice catch!

    What's thath rod? and reel?

  • I hate the hook. Would you catch a land animal this way? I am not a veggie but it is still warrants the same compassion as a land animal. If it went through the brain and killed it instantly, I might understand.

  • thatd make some fine eatin, just raw over some sticky rice. *drools*

  • That Rod is sick! What kin dof Rod is that?

  • love the dog, lols

  • Good fish dude but i hate the fact that tuna's bleed so easily.

  • nice fish gay music

  • That's not nice

  • lol im suprised a shark didnt come for that blood

  • i wud catch one and sell it to the fish market to make a couple of quid

  • What brand of reel is that? Looks like a Fin Nor, but I cant tell by the drag adjustment that its some other brand....

  • nice tuna bro...how do those big ones tast

  • Name of the angler?

  • Yah just gotta love that dog...NO FEAR of gettig right in with the action....!!!

    Cheers

  • thats nuts

  • this was posted on my birthday. :]

love how people argue even on fishing videos.

  • yeah you are going to have lots of fun with that spinning reel till you hook a real time shark not no nerf pickup bullshit and then your gears are going to be torn to shit...i wanna be there to witness it or atleast video tape it and post it on youtube cause id find that ammusing....

  • haha i would just pull out the line as fast as could for like 50 feet of slack, then hopefully tie in on my casting reel!!

  • @jeffakayeffy do research spinng and convetional reels have beefer drag

  • la mama mia tuna....

  • nice i wanna catch a tuna one time

  • just a question for the tuna fishers out there. why are yellowfins almost never released? i've seen people taking like 2-3 at a time.

  • i love to catch tuna! the way they pull your line out like crazzy and all that blood that spatters on your face. Its so awsome.

Note: After catchign a tuna your arms may feel weak and you will get a boner if you land the fish. :) have fun!

  • i dont see why some1 doeesnt find a way of landing sea-fish without killing them.......

  • how is that possible, u can kill them painlessly but not without killing them

  • Diiferent reels for different reasons

  • wow only a dumb ass would say something like that, it doesnt matter if u fish with spinnin, conventional or fly fishing, what matter is that catching the fish

  • lol why for pussys? are you a dumb fuck? get a life spinning reels all the way baby fuck the other conventional

  • Try casting a popper with a conventional reel. Aint gonna happen.

  • "Master, may I take the fish back home as my prisoner?"

  • Do you think you or your barking mad dog, woulfd have liked to have been GAFFED through the side of the head?

You should "tail" fish aboard, but you're probably not listening.

When aboard, "priest" fish with heavy club to humanely kill

    mike

we are way ahead on fishing manners here, you are total amateurs

  • dog is checking the tuna, very funny (I like the dog too).

  • Nice job with your trout gear!

  • Now that looks like fun!!!

  • It is fun to catch something like that

  • haha i love the dog

  • lots of fucking sushi for everyone and their mothers

  • Hey mate, Nice video! Awesome as - Hookedup!

  • lose the spinning reel

  • he is flicking slugs dickhead what is better than a spin combo for that............

also did the sentence at 0:51 make sense to anyone?

  • you use conventional reels for tuna dumbass. only noobs use spinning reels

  • yea well spin combos have a better cast distance so you dont scare off the school by getting too close....... i bet my daiwa exceller has surfaced more tuna that you have seen in your life buddy.

  • uhh ok. Tuna fishing isn't like pier fishing. You don't need to cast when you find a school. The deckhands lure the school to you using chum, and you just drop your freeline bait off the stern.

  • yea well we dont burley in hervey bay (where i live) we just chase schools down and cast into them and use spin combos so we dont scare the school off but yea i get where your coming from

  • hell no. it dont make sense at all.

  • @lilsurferkid at first i thought it was something wrong with me.... i couldnt figer out what the hell that meant

  • @lilsurferkid I think we have been either mindfucked or those are some stupid sons of bitches hahaha

  • I love that goldenretreaver.

  • he's the star!!! hahahaha

  • you guys gaffed it in way to many places you are only supposed to gaff it one time

    !!!!

  • i caught a 856 pound tuna it took me 2 hours to reel it in

  • man a 856lbs tuna. wanna hook one. my record is only a spranged emperor of 10lbs. though I live in a tropical region where, there's a lot of tunas, marlins and barracudas

  • The person filming this was retarded.

  • Im goin bluefin tuna fishing and Im only frikin 10!!!!!!

  • good fight.

  • THis fish is almost extinct...will be soon if people dont stop fishing for them ...

  • Extinct? Surely you exaggerate! Bluefin numbers are down and yes they are overfished as are any other species that taste good to humans. Every fishery gets over-fished because that is what we do. Do you consume? Anything you consume affects all other things........

  • I think he meant "commercially extinct" like the Atlantic Canada Cod that has not shown any signs of recovery after having the fishery closed for 15 years. Sometimes the ecosystem shifts after they are depleted to certain degree and they never recover. Could be no more bf tuna for your dinner plate is what I think he means.

  • Speak for yourself - I catch my own fish.

  • Sashimi!! Yummy Yum Yum!

  • so mean this fish is almost extinct ...due to the japenese over fishing of the fish...and the suishi market ...one day soon there wont be any left in the wild...

  • asians n theyre fuckin cameras.. lol seriously..

  • how can kill you innocent fish

    you have no rights

  • Bluefish sashimi

    bottle of sake

    bluefin sashimi

    hot bath

    hot springs

    hot massage

    ahhh, the bluefin

    visit Japan

    visit Japan

  • can anybody say to me the name of this song?

  • Yes, buddy I do!

I´ve been searching for this song since I saw this clip for the very first time about 1 year ago.

The name of this song is NOTHING and it´s performed by a japanese band called BOOM BOOM SATELLITES.

Yes, you are right the song is awesome.

    Cheers

    Bob from Brazil

  • can anybody say to me the name of the song in the background?

  • That is a nice grade BLUEFIN.. He put the wood to that fish with a spinning reel:D

  • def a bluefin. yellowfin have long yellow pectoral rins that stretch the lower half of the body instead of the nubs that bluefins have

  • and you can tell from the pectoral fin that this WAS a bluefin tuna

  • nice rod very flexible all the way to the reel

  • yea nice job but thats a yellowfin

  • ur hurting the fish!

  • Very nice fish, and good job fighting it on the spinning rig. By the way, that is definitely a yellowfin.

  • your definately an idiot then if you think thats a yellowfin....its an immature bluefin that, thanks to these uniformed sportsfishers, will never reproduce.....great job on helping out with making them more endangered than they already are......!!!

  • I believe that the fish in question is a Chartreusean Asiatic Wobblebobble, or no wait, I stand corrected! It's a PlaidPaisley Hillgilly! Flippin experts out there- get a life.

  • Yeah, wonder how many times that fish made it to eh spawning grounds. Nothing like killing a fish that has not had an opportunity to reproduce. Fish rel giants in Canada, 500+lbs. Anyhow, it is all about information, some people just don't know the damage they are causing. Just landed a fish, 666lbs dressed, 848 Round. Tignish, PEI.

  • thats right on bud....these damn amatuers dont have an f...in clue what kind of fish they are catching ...let alone it was an immature one to boot......i just wish they could read so they can look up info on these beautiful fish that are slowly but surely becomely less and less plentiful....such a shame they let idiots like this fish at all..

  • the dog was more exited than you

  • What rod was used

  • nice fish for anyone! believe me, i would know. and by the way, bfsas1998 and anyone else who said that was a yellowfin is retarded... if it was a yellowfin, it would have yellow fins! because its a bluefin, it has blueish-gray fins... a bluefin is relatively wider and has smaller eyes.

  • that's a bluefin you fucking retard

  • Hey watch your language.

  • Would someone get that damn dog out of the way. By the way thats a yellow fin tuna.

  • jice job on spinning reel + standup, awesome fighting fish

  • awesome tuna!

  • amazing

  • solid tuna mate

  • Fishing for an endangered species, not very practical or evironmentally , for lack of a better word "cool".

  • Yeah, I agree. Anybody who goes fishing would know what kind of fish is biting their hook right before it's even shallow to see it right? Oh, I guess the message at 0:53 means nothing either. Btw, I bet the fish could've lived when they took it on board the ship, there was no bleeding at all right? It looked pretty active too when it got on board the boat. You would've thrown the 20 thousand dollars back in the ocean, even if it was a waste right?

  • What does the title state? What about the message "It introduces the blue fin tuna fishing of Japan."?I guess they put that up for fun correct? And maybe the whole video which is specifically about Blue fin tuna fishing was just some sort of comical spoof correct? Try going to 3:12 and tell me if you can not notice that the fish is distinctively a blue fin tuna? Moron, if you are able to buy a boat a fishing rod, etc... I suppose you should be slightly informed about the areas you're fishing in?

  • Nope, they put the title there to let the viewers know what the content is going to be. What do you expect the title to be? Salmon fishing? If you read the comments, there were several people debating whether it is a Blue Fin or not, even after watching the video when the fish it out of the water, and at a close view. It's not unlikely that they would've mistaken it for another type of Tuna. Blue Fin Tuna is rare, if it was common and easy to fish, it wouldn't be worth that much money.

  • If you look at all the other video's from this user, you'll see that this wasn't just a "Oh hey look we accidentally caught a bluefin, how fortunate/rare!"

  • whats the brand name of ur fishing pole im curious....

  • nice video with good action:)

  • good fish, crap camera work

  • tough fish

  • Nice fishing, a big one caught on light tackle with a lure... solid

  • nice light gear for a 57kg tuna

  • Can anybody tell me the name of this song, and/or who is playing it??? PLEASE!!!

  • nice dog

  • nice rod and fish

  • Nice!

  • normally,...each time i see tuna,... i ting live it alive, because in 5 years tey can be ruen out. but i even allways take it with me because its so hard,... i'm addicted for tuna, i need it. sushi.

  • WOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! i caught a 200+ pounder but they took it away and sold it =/ they as in the charter captain

  • Awesome buddy!

  • wow, big tuna. For those in America it is the following conversion.

    57 kilogram = 125.663489445 lbs.

  • And for those in England mate.

  • So you're not metric in England? What about the rest of the U.K.

  • The E. U (European Union) has forced that whole metric thing but in the UK we use miles, not really kilometres and we still always refer to fish in pound, ounces and drams. I've only recently tuna fished for 8 lb Atlantic Bonito Tuna on light tackle. Great fun, would love to catch a biggie.

  • well for those in Canada...it is a midget of a fish..125 lbs....no wonder they are endangered...that was a terrible example of bluefin fishing...what a joke!!!!!

  • But small for a bluefin.
