If you didn't understand the senetnce at 0.51, read the japanese. Next time you catch a fish on video, please provide perfect japanse and show us the differance.
I think it would be. I have the tiagra 50 wides with 80# test. I usually keep the drag around 18lbs at strike and it works fine until you get much bigger fish. We were fighting a 500+ pound thresher for about 3 and a half hrs and it finally broke the line because its tail was hitting it the entire time.
I hate the hook. Would you catch a land animal this way? I am not a veggie but it is still warrants the same compassion as a land animal. If it went through the brain and killed it instantly, I might understand.
yeah you are going to have lots of fun with that spinning reel till you hook a real time shark not no nerf pickup bullshit and then your gears are going to be torn to shit...i wanna be there to witness it or atleast video tape it and post it on youtube cause id find that ammusing....
wow only a dumb ass would say something like that, it doesnt matter if u fish with spinnin, conventional or fly fishing, what matter is that catching the fish
yea well spin combos have a better cast distance so you dont scare off the school by getting too close....... i bet my daiwa exceller has surfaced more tuna that you have seen in your life buddy.
uhh ok. Tuna fishing isn't like pier fishing. You don't need to cast when you find a school. The deckhands lure the school to you using chum, and you just drop your freeline bait off the stern.
yea well we dont burley in hervey bay (where i live) we just chase schools down and cast into them and use spin combos so we dont scare the school off but yea i get where your coming from
man a 856lbs tuna. wanna hook one. my record is only a spranged emperor of 10lbs. though I live in a tropical region where, there's a lot of tunas, marlins and barracudas
Extinct? Surely you exaggerate! Bluefin numbers are down and yes they are overfished as are any other species that taste good to humans. Every fishery gets over-fished because that is what we do. Do you consume? Anything you consume affects all other things........
I think he meant "commercially extinct" like the Atlantic Canada Cod that has not shown any signs of recovery after having the fishery closed for 15 years. Sometimes the ecosystem shifts after they are depleted to certain degree and they never recover. Could be no more bf tuna for your dinner plate is what I think he means.
so mean this fish is almost extinct ...due to the japenese over fishing of the fish...and the suishi market ...one day soon there wont be any left in the wild...
your definately an idiot then if you think thats a yellowfin....its an immature bluefin that, thanks to these uniformed sportsfishers, will never reproduce.....great job on helping out with making them more endangered than they already are......!!!

Nope, they put the title there to let the viewers know what the content is going to be. What do you expect the title to be? Salmon fishing? If you read the comments, there were several people debating whether it is a Blue Fin or not, even after watching the video when the fish it out of the water, and at a close view.
