hi, the size of the pond is 1000 gallons about 15 x 20 FT,the filter is a Jebao PF30 Bio-filter and UV filter 36 watts, pump is a 2500 GPH Jebao as well

Are you sure about that? 15x20ft and you say below it's between 1.5 and 3 feet deep. When I plug those values into a pond volume calculator I get a much higher number. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 3300 gallons.

my pond has t widest parts are about 15 x 20 ft but again is the widest part, and is 80 % 1.5 and 20% 3 feet.

nice collection of kois though maybe giving away or selling the chagois will sparkle up the pond more with your koi collection. make sure you add an UV lite sterilizer to keep your pond sparkling clear without green, foggy water.

That reminds me of a kin ki utsuri that I used to have in my pond - it as the first to be eaten by an otter when they recolonised a local river. 28" of beauty left in a mangled heap. Now the pond is fenced off and electrified.

What an awesome pond...I live in a townhouse, and the association let me put in a little one, only about 6'x4', but I love to watch my small koi and goldfish swim around. It's so relaxing! One day if I can ever afford a house I will make a large pond in the back yard.

Hi, if the koi you added are babies they are supposed to be shy, and they will hide for some time before they get used to the pond, on important thing you need to check the water and make sure is in good levels, check the ammonia, PH and Nitrate. If the water is bad Koi are liked to stay in one place and move very little. Also try another type of food
