i know of an incident where my friend was deprived of food coz of some dumb silly reasons. Besides, no cell phones, no mp3, ipod r alllowed in the hostel!!and u can get out the hostel just once a month!!I am not a part of these jails aka institutions but i feel soo strongly against them and I really think they all need a crash course on respecting human rights. They should probably take some pointers from the US universities.

IF there is a private property rights violations then its wrong, if not then its not.
If you want to print your letter on editor's property(his newspaper) then it must be with consent of editor.
If Editor prevents you(somehow, although I donno how) from writing a letter from a paper YOU own, then its wrong.
If Editor orders to burn all the letter from you upon arrival without opening, its not wrong.
