  • Archie Barnes, a member of Brenda's band in the video, passed away on June 19, 2011. He took the music with him.

  • There are 3 people who should say their sorry for disliking this song.

  • Nice of you to shear this with us, WONDERFUL !!!

  • Spectacular!

  • i was born in 1990 in chile south america and i like thrash metal... i just wanna say thanks for upload this, dude...

  • Simply wonderful... Brenda Lee was a great singer! Music never dies!

I love especially the second song "All alone am I" composed in 1962 by the great Greek composer Manos Chatzidakis (English: Manos Hadjidakis 1925-1994)

Thank you very much for this old recording / documentary.

  • Today's generation really is missing out on true talents and gracious people like this Brenda Lee performance. Thank you for posting.

  • my two favs of hers on the same clip. wonderful. thanks.

  • Damn What A Voice She Can Really Belt Out A Tune

  • A great lady and singer, I had the honor of meeting her, her voice is a national treasure.

  • ...Brenda lee was the biggest 'star' based out of nashville at this filming...!

  • Might be the only singer, male or female to have shared the bill with Elvis and the Beatles....I may be wrong, but hell, Love the rumor!

  • Brenda is the greatest singer of ballads, and a pioneer of some of rcok hits since the 60's.She is a legend in Country music too.

She still performs and keep on getting fams on their feet.

I have been lucky to know her and her husband in person .She is a legend in her own time.

She will be my idol for me and my wife forever.

God bless you dear girl and your dear family too.

    A. Lopez

  • @lopalb2001

HOW LOVELY, I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS A LITTLE GIRL MY LITTLE TRANSISTOR RAIDO UNDER MY PILLOW AND FELL ASLEEP LISTENING TO HER AND OTHER WONDERFUL ARTISTS. I LOVED THEM ALL.

  • @mspartimarti It's good to know I wasn't the only one listening to the transistor radio under my pillow. Those were the days...back in the day.

  • Brenda and Patsy. Two of the greatest gifts from God.

  • glad i got to see my dad on there (Archie)

  • You sound very proud as you should be. I got to see Brenda Lee and the Casuals in the mid 60's in Corpus Christi, Tx.

  • Iceman, that post was for you

  • Ageless. Some of the greatest songs ever recorded, I love Emotions and so many of her hits. Thanks for posting.

  • love her take's me back

  • Mi canción favorita!! La amo!

  • could listen 2 her all day every day no problemo

  • One of the greatist female singers of all time. She's a legend and icon from the late 50's into the early 60's.

  • i saw on "jeopardy" that brenda is only one of four acts who are in the rock and roll and country music hall of fame.

  • one of the 2 best there has ever been, the other would be Patsy Cline.

  • goodfellas

  • The set looks vaguely like the Hollywood Palace. The Casuals were her band from the late 50's which "going on 11 years" would make this the late 60's. On the other hand, Brenda looks older than the 24-25 she was in 1969.

Any ideas on what year or what program this is from?

  • One of the best singers ever, incredible voice. Wonderful songs, very special words and lige long memories of friday evenings at high school dances. N.Y.C.

  • My favorite singer since 1960......she is the best ballad singer of all time. Nothing like her soul-wrenching renditions. Love her.

  • Amazing!

  • I'm amazed. I'm a metal music player and fan but I love this woman's recordings. Her song "I wonder" is great too. Thanks for posting this :)

  • metal ain't music :)

    (joking)

  • nah, it's wot yer make fings wiv lol

  • as you can see by yourself ... music sometimes can not put into boxes ...fine that you realized ..... regards eva

  • Years ago, I remember listening to the great blues, soul, and R&B 50,000-watt WLAC Radio at night. One night, I heard "Hoss" Allen introduce a song as " . . . one of the greatest soul songs of all time". That song was "I'm Sorry", sung by Brenda Lee. Call it what you want, but Brenda Lee has had a unique way of projecting emotion through a song. Read her autobiography, "Little Miss Dynamite".

  • Hey gheemunnie, why do you have to be crude? You liberals always have to project your perverse lifestyles on to everyone else. I came to this site to listen to some GREAT music and have a few good memories. I suggest you back to the future where this crudeness thrives, bye-bye, now.

  • has anyone got drenda lee singing when you loved me . please please released in 1964
