Gar can be found any where in the water colum. Float fishing is one method that works great for Gator Gar. Due to the 10 minute time limit for uploads to youtube that was one thing I could not talk about, but I will have a video on it soon.

nice video...so are the gar usually bottom dwellers? cause here i see them floating on the top alot so if i used a float like yours with a steel liter on it except made it float close to the surface would it still work? i would use the mouth hooking method btw
