All fifa are doing is recycling what was on ps2 fifas. they clam its new additions to the game, however they got it from previous fifa games on ps2, and they are changing up the words to corrupt our minds and think its new features.

I play with manual contoller settings & would love to see more players using these settings. When you get FIFA 12 try manual out for a while & see if you like it & if you don't you can always change back to assisted. But I'm sure you'll love it. Manual controls give you so much more freedom to do what you want & score goals that aren't possible with assisted settings. @afrofusionz Dont necessarily agree with that format, unlocking new kit designs can be a pain in the backside if you're very specific about what you want the kit to look like and there's ages to go to achieve the kit you want. Equally you might find the first kit available is your favourite so there's no need to earn the others. I'd still like to see a custom kit option though, that would be cool
@Rodgerinho just like ALL multi national companies they will tell you what you want to hear to get your money, for the last 4 or 5 years ive been saying that the FIFA franchise should be given to another company, EA cant do it justice, so now im switching to PES12, tried PES11 DEMO last year and loved it but got FIFA as a gift, this time im asking for PES12 and have been playing a pre-owned version of PES11 and im very impressed, im getting into it more than FIFA, its a footballers game
@gapamu66 I've heard people try that argument before. PES is a lot easier, so yes, people that are busy actually playing the game in real life do prefer PES. But for tactical positioning, realism, an overall simulation feel, Fifa beats PES. Players names and transfers makes it look more professional too. And dont be fooled into thinking you're stopping some evil corporation, PES gets the Japanese market, it doesnt need any help. All you're doing is denying yourself a better game
@Rodgerinho PES isn't an easier game buddy, after 15yrs of FIFA i have PES and imo PES is a footballers game and not a gamers game, with FIFA my 8yr old nephew can play me and give me a good game but with PES he cant get near my goal as he doesn't know how to play football, its as simple as that, FIFA make look real but PES play more realistic for me, so as much as ive loved FIFA she has outlived her use and now i have a new love and she's wonderful
@gapamu66 I actually started out with PES, back on PS2 Fifa was too rigid and the gameplay sucked, so I know all about Pro Ev and I clocked tons of hours with mates.But Fifa from 08 onwards has been better, and I know because I've been playing both each year.PES just doesnt feel realistic, and if you're a footballer you'd know that.It's a tactical game, and you dont get arcade moments every 2 minutes, you have to work and it's subtle things that make the difference. PES is completely unrealistic
@gapamu66 Good on you if you prefer PES, and if you're knocking your young nephew into his place then all the better, kids are annoying as hell. That being said I guarantee if you tell him to mark the space rather than the man, and use the pro movement buttons to cover runs he'll give you a better challenge. Pro Ev is a lot different, but it's not harder, you just need to know how to play it. Overall I say it's easier because that's just how I find it compared to Fifa
@09lilkiller Champions Leauge and Europa league license belongs to KONAMI at the moment. But if I'm correct, their license contract ends next year, so you can expect that in FIFA 13 or FIFA 14. :)

@MJFoster7 They focussed on how the players look when tackles are made, that's going to be pretty cool, and it'll improve the overall experience. Be honest, the only time you notice crowds is in a cut scene. They should just allow people to turn off pointless cutscenes

And I'm of the understanding that in actual fact the Fifa scouting and attribute setting is entirely derived from real life scouts around the world who provide feedback and offer their opinions on players. And beyond that I know in previous games they did have advisors to dictate the parameters of gameplay. I'd be surprised if they dont still have someone they consult with. Also what about Kaka, Rooney, the disk face guys? They'll offer feedback

The game glitches at times, but you cant deny overall it's awesome. I mean if you're getting that level of error every game you just have a faulty copy or a corrupt save, because that happens like 1 in 20 at most for me. Need to do more work on cut-scenes, when referees give a card, logos etc. Those are all pretty poor and samey at the moment. There's only about 5 different referee actions and always the same cut-scenes for injuries. Need to make a real matchday feel about it and more/better looking stadiums would make that better too, along with crowds too.
@dhucksy They're making injuries different, now if you get smashed in the left leg the player goes down holding that leg, and there can be repeated problems with the injury if you ignore it
The presentation is a great point to increase, as FIFA's graphics are awesome. It would really increase the realism if there were more closes in the player during the game. Principally during a foul, a penalty and a crucial corner kick. And this game should show the crowd desperate, like reactions and support to the team. I believe that it would make the game look much more beatiful. It would feel real to players as it was not only one more FIFA match.

@mathieucsl Dont you think it's impossible to make a good crowd? If they have a shot of 50 people on screen, every one has to be different. Different faces, different clothes, body types, skin accessories, food, height etc. It's a lot of work for something that doesn't make the football any better. And you only see the crowd every so often in cut scenes, it's just so pointless to make them amazing when you dont even see them that often. At least the crowd sounds are good, Porto in particular
Make Javier Hernandez from Manchester United FC have a higher overall and i believe "Ariel Threat" and "Poacher" personality because he's really low on Fifa 11 and obviously he would because he was un-known but his first season in the Premier league was awesome! Who agrees?
@Jaaaaaakex His headers aren't that skilled at all. Just because you can score a header doesn't make you an aerial threat. There are a lot of players that can score headers perfectly fine, just they don't have the finesse, strength, and composure while in the air as people who are "Aeriel Threats". Hernandez seemed like an 80+ player throughout the season. Keep in mind he is still young, 80+ is good for his age. Not like he was super fantastic. He was decently good.
@GhostOfAStranger1 You're mad! He scored 13 goals in the Prem last year, 20 overall and most of the time from the bench. Outscoring Rooney and coming in joint 6th of scorers is outstanding, beating people like Drogba and Van der Vaart. He also got the winner in a lot of games and that counts for more. Chelsea game scoring within 10mins was a real peach. Top quality player and I think at least an 82 next year with better stamina, pace, finishing and heading accuracy

You'd be surprised. Menus are like the first impression when it comes to games and have to be remixed in order to satisfy the eye. It's especially applicable for newbies coming in trying it for the first time. Every game does that.

The guy who was promoting it was vague as to whether you had to push a button or if it was automatic but it looked really good. To be honest my belief is they had it ready to roll last year but decided to drop it in order to have something for this year's release

i think its extremely disappointing that the celebrations havn't changed. celebrations are about emotion and excitement. yet when u score in fifa11 you just see 1 guy running about and then doing some stupid pose while a few others stand there doing the same. its pathetic. You look at every single goal in the premier league and compare it to how boring the ones in fifa 11 are. yes gameplay is important but its crap that u have neglected the stuff around that.. footbal is more than just gameplay!

even more reason i reckon they should release a fifa every 2 years instead of every 1 but after each season release DLC which gives you the up to date kits and transfers. FIFA 11's transfer system has a problem: the league prestige. I'm Brazilian, and on real life, many clubs contract Brazilian players from European leagues. In the game it doesn't happen because of our league hasn't enough prestige. It's a bit fake. FIFA is the best when it comes to soccer, but it still have some points to improve.

New commentary (more languages), full player names in their profile, ability to simulate career mode (player) games or asked to be subbed out (with a penalty of course like no accomplishments), also more Asian and African national teams. Also make it easier to edit the national teams, that whole national team pool to squad crap isnt working. Make it like it was in FIFA World Cup. Also actually have teams stadiums not these default arenas.
Can you focus more on lower leagued teams? I support Wycombe and every year they have a terrible rating. It's like Charlton or Millwall, they are both ex Premiership, yet they have like 2 star rating?
I would love the ability to EDIT kits, players appearances, logos etc. And little clips of players arguing, managers, crowd. during gameplay will make the game a lot more enjoyable. I also think that training should be improved drastically, so that you have can practice dribbling round cones and complete challenges which will help you master each control. This covers defence, attack and overall tactics.
one main thing that contributes in the gameplay is when your playing online and trying to take a free kick, if he runs one of his players on the goal line shouldn't my players get closer to the goal. this needs to be done
@BigLou1900 at least he explains what the focus is on and why they are not working on certain things too heavy at the moment. they could also just ignore the questions and answer whatever makes the game sound nicer. I think it's very fair to answer as many questions as possible and also very close to the fans, so I like the vids in general.
You will be dissapointed, I can already tell he's lying, well exaggerrating features deliberately. I garuntee FIFA will still not use realistic camera angles, all they have to do is watch a sky sports broadcast, look at the positioning of cameras in stadiums, or even play pro evolution, they have done pretty well with the angles they use, the way they cut to a slow motion replay of the celebration is awesome. I can already tell this is a dissapointment.
Yes is a disappointment, the players are not alone in the pitch. Without the fans's emotions and expressions the game is not the same. You guys should do something better with the crowd.

@gapamu66 Haha, yeah sure, and call of duty is a war game but nobody actually gets killed. There's a line between reality and computer games. The game glitches at times, but you cant deny overall it's awesome. I mean if you're getting that level of error every game you just have a faulty copy or a corrupt save, because that happens like 1 in 20 at most for me. Tell you what these txt boxes are very restrictive for letters allowed, if you want to discuss this via the mail I'm on for that

@Rodgerinho most of my problems are online buddy, PES wont fix that i know but my Ping test and Speedtests are terrible,im in Glasgow,a big Metropolis and my Pingtest is grade D-F(A is best)my connection speed is slower than 68% of the UK due to the line,must be the original line used for Alexander Graham Bells tests on the invention of the telephone,but im just fed up with the unrealistic goal scoring scenarios built into FIFA, the 9 minute goal is a joke, commentators say the line '9 is fine'

Need to do more work on cut-scenes, when referees give a card, logos etc. Those are all pretty poor and samey at the moment. There's only about 5 different referee actions and always the same cut-scenes for injuries. Need to make a real matchday feel about it and more/better looking stadiums would make that better too, along with crowds too.

@dhucksy They're making injuries different, now if you get smashed in the left leg the player goes down holding that leg, and there can be repeated problems with the injury if you ignore it

The presentation is a great point to increase, as FIFA's graphics are awesome. It would really increase the realism if there were more closes in the player during the game. Principally during a foul, a penalty and a crucial corner kick. And this game should show the crowd desperate, like reactions and support to the team. I believe that it would make the game look much more beatiful. It would feel real to players as it was not only one more FIFA match.

@mathieucsl Dont you think it's impossible to make a good crowd? If they have a shot of 50 people on screen, every one has to be different. Different faces, different clothes, body types, skin accessories, food, height etc. It's a lot of work for something that doesn't make the football any better. And you only see the crowd every so often in cut scenes, it's just so pointless to make them amazing when you dont even see them that often. At least the crowd sounds are good, Porto in particular

@Jaaaaaakex His headers aren't that skilled at all. Just because you can score a header doesn't make you an aerial threat. There are a lot of players that can score headers perfectly fine, just they don't have the finesse, strength, and composure while in the air as people who are "Aeriel Threats". Hernandez seemed like an 80+ player throughout the season. Keep in mind he is still young, 80+ is good for his age. Not like he was super fantastic. He was decently good.

@GhostOfAStranger1 You're mad! He scored 13 goals in the Prem last year, 20 overall and most of the time from the bench. Outscoring Rooney and coming in joint 6th of scorers is outstanding, beating people like Drogba and Van der Vaart. He also got the winner in a lot of games and that counts for more. Chelsea game scoring within 10mins was a real peach. Top quality player and I think at least an 82 next year with better stamina, pace, finishing and heading accuracy

The guy who was promoting it was vague as to whether you had to push a button or if it was automatic but it looked really good. To be honest my belief is they had it ready to roll last year but decided to drop it in order to have something for this year's release

i think its extremely disappointing that the celebrations havn't changed. celebrations are about emotion and excitement. yet when u score in fifa11 you just see 1 guy running about and then doing some stupid pose while a few others stand there doing the same. its pathetic. You look at every single goal in the premier league and compare it to how boring the ones in fifa 11 are. yes gameplay is important but its crap that u have neglected the stuff around that.. footbal is more than just gameplay!

lol yeah they should continue watching Rooney's hair, so that when the game comes out Rooney looks fresh with his full head of hair. FIFA 11's transfer system has a problem: the league prestige. I'm Brazilian, and on real life, many clubs contract Brazilian players from European leagues. In the game it doesn't happen because of our league hasn't enough prestige. It's a bit fake. FIFA is the best when it comes to soccer, but it still have some points to improve.

New commentary (more languages), full player names in their profile, ability to simulate career mode (player) games or asked to be subbed out (with a penalty of course like no accomplishments), also more Asian and African national teams. Also make it easier to edit the national teams, that whole national team pool to squad crap isnt working. Make it like it was in FIFA World Cup. Also actually have teams stadiums not these default arenas.

I would love the ability to EDIT kits, players appearances, logos etc. And little clips of players arguing, managers, crowd. during gameplay will make the game a lot more enjoyable. I also think that training should be improved drastically, so that you have can practice dribbling round cones and complete challenges which will help you master each control. This covers defence, attack and overall tactics.

You will be dissapointed, I can already tell he's lying, well exaggerrating features deliberately. I garuntee FIFA will still not use realistic camera angles, all they have to do is watch a sky sports broadcast, look at the positioning of cameras in stadiums, or even play pro evolution, they have done pretty well with the angles they use, the way they cut to a slow motion replay of the celebration is awesome. I can already tell this is a dissapointment.
