I'm back, love this video, beautiful powder that just fluffs away. Why is it there is a strong marketing going on at the moment for inland skiing, saying places near coast have heavy wet snow, that snow looks lush and light, there is no way that is wet and heavy.

Why would you bash skiing because you ran into a couple of "dick skiers"? That's stupid. Skiing and snowboarding is basically the same we just have two planks instead of one. Im the only skier in my group of friends and we all have a good time. Just enjoy the sport man. If you run into a dick skier just brush it off and enjoy the rest of your run.

Why does every skiing video become a skier vs. snowboarder argument? Everyone moves powder going downhill, and Both bad snowboarders and skiiers push away more powder, because they spend more time horizontally, moving down the slope. I have been tripped as many times by my idiot skier friends as my idiot snowboarder friends getting off of a chairlift. Anyway, if someone is riding like an asian drives, cut around them. And wow, at one point it looks like he is falling down the slope. Looks Fun!

@JulchenKCW Well, I can do both and I can say both are fun. The feeling I get from powder turns with a snowboard is better then what I get from skis, the hiking part of skis trumphs snowboard. Being able to skin up to whatever you wanna ski is amazing. So, if the powder is easily available from the lift I choose snowboard, but for offpiste/backcountry i choose skis.

dont see how anyone can say the powder feel on skis are better then snowboard, but they, to each his own.

@SK8RDIE0 I do both, but it's strictly condition dependent: board for pow and fischer wc 193 gs for hardpack - a stupidly heavy/fast ski. In the speed department, skis will always win. And when I ski, I hate all boarders, and when I board, I hate all skiers - just to keep the rivalry going.

120 pounds? You're very light, you wouldn't need really fat ski's. I'm 6'1, 195 pounds and ski on Rossignol B4's, they're the same height as me and about 90mm under foot. They worked perfectly in Whistler in these conditions.
