Does anybody remember TO's amazing catch-and-run against the Redskins one year, where he took a short pass and broke something like 10 or 11 tackles on his way into the end zone? He was still a 49er at that point. I'm a Redskins fan and I want to find a clip of that play, but I can't find a video of it anywhere! Jerry Rice knew what was MOST important when playing the game, the GAME was MOST important to Jerry Rice, not HIMSELF like Terrell Owens. When Jerry played it was during the time when the players played for the love of the sport, period. Terrell Owens and the infamours Randy Moss try to make the game about themselves and that in book makes both players selfish and example of wasted talent.

He had to work 10 times harder for what he got. T.O was the more complete WR. He'd go deep, go short and run people over. Both are two of the greatest ever. Moss had the more physical talent, but T.O had that drive in him. He loves football. Him rehabbing this injury proves it, he didn't just quit like Moss did.

Terrell Owens could have been one of the greatest wide receivers to ever play the game. He was one of my favorite 49ers when he played for the 49ers and had he straighten up his act/attitude he would be still playing for the 49ers. He unfortunately will not come close to the greatest receiver (Jerry Rice) in talent and professionalism and that is a damn SHAME...
@CuddinPurple Actually it wasn't until his grandmother who raised him and who he admired greatly died. owens speaks of his grandmother with great admiration and respect during an interview regarding his erractic behavior on/off the field. He stated during this interview that he only loved and cared about the woman who kept him on the straight and narrow with love and discipline. He also expressed that he believes his grandmother was only person that truly loved and cared about him...How sad...
