@PimpMyInsanity you pretty much got it. They deal with people whose names disappear from the Book of the Dead and when freaky stuff happens. They jump in to help when a singer is brought back from the dead and a boy gets stuck in a contract with the Devil. They are like the Twilight Zone Patrol lol
It's about Shinigami (gods of death) who investigate in the living world when unexplained (usually supernatural) deaths occur. The plot goes deeper, Tsuzuki, the amethyst-eyed brunette, is a shinigami anomaly, he never actually died, biologically he is a freak. Muraki, the white-haired, trench coat wearing doctor is fascinated by him, he seeks a way to bring the dead to life. There is more, of course, but you should watch the anime/ read the manga and discover for yourself ^^
being attracted to older men is a very good thing (especially for women) older men are more responsible, have more money and are better role models and parents. also, older men know how to treat a woman better and women respect older men more so there relationships are much less likely to suffer.
PS: unfortunately, I am a guy and attracted to younger men, but I feel a lot of the above qualities describe me well, even if I'm not old =)
Added to my favorites! This was great. I loved the song, and it worked very well with the video! Nice choices of song and video. I'd only suggest for constructive critisism, if you were actually looking to get Miraki's dubbing with that of the song to take some more time and sync it up by slowing down the clips or splicing them in intervals.

I agree about the lip sync; it could use some improvement indeed. I have the bad habit of learning by doing stuff, so this vid was probably one of my first attempts with WMM. Now I've been trying out Adobe Premiere and I really yearn to make an AMV with it; so much easier to manipulate the footage for better lip sync! ^^
This was your first with WMM? I never would have guessed. Fantastic - WMM is indeed a pain to use, it is extremely difficult to splice footage with. I used to use Premiere and can no longer *find* a working copy. ;)

Muraki did rape Hisoka when he was 13 years old and put a spell on him which sent him slowly to death at his 16 years old. Now, Muraki is really after Tsuzuki, the manga shows more hints of shounen ai, tsuzuki even had a dream where he's having sex with Muraki...poor guy!
you can find that scene in volume 5. there's also an arc about an all-male catholic school where the main boys in the story are in love but one of them was mysteriously killed so tsuzuki and Hisoka are sent to investigate the matter...i don't remember the volume.. it was really sad though, it deals with the forbidden love that's actually a sin and abomination to the church and to God but they can't fight with their feelings....:( oooh now I want to read it again

hmmmm Muraki didn't bring Hisoka back to life. He put a curse on him to make him suffer a very slow but painful death. Hisoka suffered for 3 years, died and then because his case was special he was given the option in the after life to be a guardian of death or simply die forever. He decided to be a guardian of death to find out the reason of his death (remember, Muraki erased all his memories).
This video was the gateway drug for me to YnM in particular and shounen-ai in general. I was looking for Death Note videos, and couldn't believe what I saw. Men kissing! The anime isn't really yaoi...Muraki does act like it in about 2 scenes and Watari clearly is, but nothing happens that is...bad. The manga on the other hand does take on some yaoi-ish things.
And Wiki does describe it as the 'gateway yaoi' ^^;
But I just don't see it.

@PimpMyInsanity you pretty much got it. They deal with people whose names disappear from the Book of the Dead and when freaky stuff happens. They jump in to help when a singer is brought back from the dead and a boy gets stuck in a contract with the Devil. They are like the Twilight Zone Patrol lol

It's about Shinigami (gods of death) who investigate in the living world when unexplained (usually supernatural) deaths occur. The plot goes deeper, Tsuzuki, the amethyst-eyed brunette, is a shinigami anomaly, he never actually died, biologically he is a freak. Muraki, the white-haired, trench coat wearing doctor is fascinated by him, he seeks a way to bring the dead to life. There is more, of course, but you should watch the anime/ read the manga and discover for yourself ^^

being attracted to older men is a very good thing (especially for women) older men are more responsible, have more money and are better role models and parents. also, older men know how to treat a woman better and women respect older men more so there relationships are much less likely to suffer.
PS: unfortunately, I am a guy and attracted to younger men, but I feel a lot of the above qualities describe me well, even if I'm not old =)

Added to my favorites! This was great. I loved the song, and it worked very well with the video! Nice choices of song and video. I'd only suggest for constructive critisism, if you were actually looking to get Miraki's dubbing with that of the song to take some more time and sync it up by slowing down the clips or splicing them in intervals.
Other than that, awesome job! I can't get enough of it! Five stars, luv!

I agree about the lip sync; it could use some improvement indeed. I have the bad habit of learning by doing stuff, so this vid was probably one of my first attempts with WMM. Now I've been trying out Adobe Premiere and I really yearn to make an AMV with it; so much easier to manipulate the footage for better lip sync! ^^

This was your first with WMM? I never would have guessed. Fantastic - WMM is indeed a pain to use, it is extremely difficult to splice footage with. I used to use Premiere and can no longer *find* a working copy. ;)
You will have a lot of fun with it; and if this is what you're capable of making with WMM, I can't wait to see the ones you make using Premiere!

Muraki did rape Hisoka when he was 13 years old and put a spell on him which sent him slowly to death at his 16 years old. Now, Muraki is really after Tsuzuki, the manga shows more hints of shounen ai, tsuzuki even had a dream where he's having sex with Muraki...poor guy!

you can find that scene in volume 5. there's also an arc about an all-male catholic school where the main boys in the story are in love but one of them was mysteriously killed so tsuzuki and Hisoka are sent to investigate the matter...i don't remember the volume.. it was really sad though, it deals with the forbidden love that's actually a sin and abomination to the church and to God but they can't fight with their feelings....:( oooh now I want to read it again

hmmmm Muraki didn't bring Hisoka back to life. He put a curse on him to make him suffer a very slow but painful death. Hisoka suffered for 3 years, died and then because his case was special he was given the option in the after life to be a guardian of death or simply die forever. He decided to be a guardian of death to find out the reason of his death (remember, Muraki erased all his memories).

YnM was also the gateway to yaoi for me. At first I didn't like yaoi and one day I saw this anime in the store and bought it because of the good animation. After watching the first few episodes I was hoping for something beyond friendship between Tsuzuki and Hisoka.....then I realized "nooo! it can't be they're both men and that's wrong" and I kept on watching it...I became I huge fan of yaoi overall nd not only that, I started to read books about gay men..YnM was my downfall!
