I was in a band called "The Torque" all those years ago, and we supported the Chances are in some kind of youth centre in Acton west London. They had just released Fragile child which I thought was an amazing song and the band had such great harmony's. I was sixteen at the time. I remember the vocalist telling our very young vocalist about the perils of smoking for singers voices. Nice to see the band are still around. Happy days.
Well well, Johny Hill! So you are still alive then? Have been in contact with Krzysztof Juszkiewicz old friend of yours and ex Chances Are?? Also Chris Harris. You may remember me Rosy Farmer, Mick Strode's old girlfriend. Just got back in contact with Simon Fox too. Met up with Deborah Bonham at Colne last year and had a good chat.. your name was mentioned. Writing a book at the mo about 'those exciting times' be good to get in contact.
@notoriousbrothers@notoriousbrothers Hi Johny Yes we are still enjoying ourselves and Bif is playing Bass with a band called Waking the Dead- Mxd French english playing all the old rock and roll numbers mostly at Bikers (Harley nuts) festivals. R U on Facebook as I have some photos of Biff playing on my page.
One of the band is Dave Sealey, who with his brother Al (who sadly died in 1999) went on to become the highly popular music hall duo Cosmotheka. Dave is still performing, now with his son Dan (of Ocean Colour Scene fame). Find them on Twitter @cosmothekamusic

I bought this record in a Bristol shop taking a punt on an unusual name - The only thing I have heard about them is in John Bonhams brothers book about the Led Zeppelin drummer - did Bonzo play with them? is there a Redditch connection? A great record and I'm so pleased I took a Chance at a £enner.
@deepindercheema Howdy, there certainly is a Redditch connection, we were all from Redditch. The connection with Bonzo is from myself Johny Hill, ,he was my best mate for quite a while. We spent many a night in Pete Gazates cafe (Smokey Joe's) looking at pictures of guitars and drums, we were only about 14 or 15 yrs old. I had my very first band with John, The Avengers, but it was fairly short lived. He quickly moved around several bands All the best Johny Hill
Howdy, only the singer, Dave and myself stayed seriously in the biz.I hooked back up with Bonzo in 1968 in the last line up of The Band Of Joy with Rob Plant and guitarist Mick Strode (I had changed to playing bass to do this) then The Wellington Kitch Jump Band, Mauritzios band Italy, Vincent Flatts Final Drive, The Notorious Brothers and many things on the way. Dave launched DJM label as a solo singer and later formed the very succsessful Cosmotheka with their own radio 2 pog. Johnny Hill
