@tainoaz I agree our government could be better, although I'm glad to live in a country that's not willing to try and cover up a major event (Tienanmen square 1985) just because it makes them look bad. I hope one day to see a china that's less totalitarian. I suppose their current state of affairs can't last forever.

i thinks the technology development is very imbalanced in china, we can send a man to space but we cant make a car that can compete with the japanese or korean. we seriously lack an international brandname. What have stopped chinese from inventing things...the answer is quick money.
true. long ago we invented loads of things while other civilisations were still in their infancy, after that our greed for personal gain before national advancement got the better of us. hopefully more people will put the needs of the collective first.
good for china! although I still disagree with china's government, its nice to see one more country reaching for the stars.
