As for the bit of " wiggle" or spin that gets imparted into the flexible dart upon throwing perhaps that could be used to advantage a well by incorporating a small jacknife plastic propellor and elec motor combination in the forward portion of the dart to spin counter to the wiggle and run of remainder battery?

very nicely done , I pity the deer thats 20 yrds downrange from you and your dart cause he's dinner !Very interesting bit of technology the atlatl? Im wondering if modern day materials and or technology couldnt be applied in constructing a more capable device ?Specifically the addition of reactive electromagnets in the tail of the dart and in the " nock" portion of the throwing instrument ?The goal being to impart a " blast " of like polarity repulsive magnetic force at the instant kinetics decl

Well, atlatls are ancient weapons used to take down megafauna over ten thousand years ago so it wouldn't be a problem. I've never killed an animal with an atlatl dart but there are videos on YouTube that show hunting and bringing down deer with the atlatl.

Greetings: I'm curious about the impact of your darts. Do you feel that you could throw them hard enough to get the penatration necessary to bring down a deer or similiar sized animal?
