@Aleskitans They're not legal in Standard format which only includes the most recent expansions. Right now cards legal in Standard must come from Zendikar, Worldwake, Rise of the Eldrazi, Magic 2011, Scars of Mirrodin, Mirrodin Besieged, New Phyrexia and Magic 2012. The cards these guys were playing with are older. For example Chameleon Colossus comes from Morningtide.

ya, I predict MTG will become too tainted with OP combinations that they'll simply discontinue further production. that isn't to say we wont see more unique ideas coming for a long time, but its decks like these that really kill the casual play, as tournament play obviously controls them.

I play Magistrate, Heritage druid, llanowar elves, defiant elf, Nissa (what a great planeswalker to elves!), Nissa´s chosen, Jagged-Scar Archers, Imperious Perfect, Wellwisher, Lys Alana Huntmaster, Promenade

The colossus deck could actually have won on the turn it mercy killing'd. If during his upkeep, he tapped the augur for mana with heritage druid (tapping the druid and the liege as well) for three, then tapped the devoted druid for a fourth mana, then sacrificed the augur (still during the upkeep) to pump the colossus, then activated the colossus to double its power, then during the main phase, tapped the three lands + the birds to pump again, the colossus would've been a 32/32 trampler, lethal.
