I agree completely with this view on Barack. My feelings about him after listening and reading about him were similar.

Coming from Holland I do see him as somebody who will understand also our world-view. Is able to use this understanding in his choices to make the best decisions for the US. This would be a step forward from the current arrogant and US centric mindset and approach to foreign politics.
