Lou Wamp is one of the top 3 dobro players in the world, along with Jerry Douglas & Rob Ickes. Andy's banjo was not picked up properly for the banjo breaks by the sound engineer. I saw the concert in person, and found that the recording was made directly from the soundboard. Andy is 65 and still a terrific player.
Rocky Top is one of my favorite songs, and I've probably heard 10 different renditions at the bare minimum - this is my favorite one by far. Blows John Denver out of the water!
You can't go wrong with Rocky Top no matter how you look at it. Thanks for the awesome video
