You plug your ipod to your computer and open up itunes or whatever you use to put music on your ipod. right click the song and hit delete.

Other than the genius feature, which does not seem all that great, this ipod is almost exactly the same as the old.

I have a 3g and I feel that it would be a complete waste of money to buy this if you already have a 3g.

My friend just got one as his first iPod and he loves it. I messed around with it and its really not worth the money. Also, Genius comes with the new iTunes. I would wait until something like an iPod with a camera or some other new device comes out, until then just hold onto your current one.

Also another thing. They should make better fakking headphones. Every headphone ive had whit every new ipod breaks down after a while and i don't mean the rubber things on the earpieces but the phones just stop working, the right one is usually the first to go.

Of course it annoys you - they designed a flaw into it, so it purposely doesn't do what it's meant to do. Apple are THAT stupid, that they didn't realise people excercise; probably why they included the NIKE software - yep, that'll be it! ;-)

if you put it on hold it will not shuffle, you can turn off the shake to shuffle - it also does not typically shuffle when running.

You have to shake it violently and in quick succession, so if you are on a treadmill and it shakes, but not really fast, you will not shuffle songs
