There is no such thing as pop-Punk. Pop means popular, and punk is everything against it. This is a good song no matter what you do with it. "pop-Punk" is fast paced popular music that makes people think they are rebelling. They just took Black F;ag, Minor Threat and Circle Jerks and added their own flavor to the mix, which would later be called "skate punk" by some people. "Pop-punk" would more likely be associated with bands like Green Day, Blink-182, Good Charlotte, etc.

First of all the new Pennywise album is free, and Pennywise have always been on an independant record label. Secondly, political music does not sell well. If you have no idea what you're talking about then shut the fuck up and get off Pennywise's videos.

Of course, they're far more melodic than the bands that influenced them, but to call PW a "pop-punk" band is a bit ridiculous. They just took Black F;ag, Minor Threat and Circle Jerks and added their own flavor to the mix, which would later be called "skate punk" by some people. "Pop-punk" would more likely be associated with bands like Green Day, Blink-182, Good Charlotte, etc.
