Ok what I want to know is why the fuck are they bothering to save the spaceship when the Tardis can just whisk them all a way, waste of time and several lives being risked isnt it?
Infact come to that how come the Tardis which tends t find itself wandering in on these little predicament s take on passengers more often, why all the running around getting in trouble. If the Doc is so big on saving lives why does he never let them in?????
This one falls under number one thanks to extreme heat plot device. Also the Doctor has these weird time senses that tell him which people can be saved without screwing up time lines and which ones cannot. Also I think the fun adventures where nothing dangerous happens are the ones that happen off-screen, and the TARDIS secretly hates him.
Anyone else notice that know matter how many times they fall rapidly to the sun, they seem to get farther and farther away the next time they show the ship falling towards the sun?
@SSBBrawlChamp lmao yeah thats sci fi cliche and conventions 101 for u, theyve only just got into the habit of realising not to put other stars in the background now that everyone knows u cant see stars in space qwhen theres other planets blokcing the light out
@physis111 What gets me is that more people dont question ok ur a doctor but whats ur actual name, doctor isnt a name, its a title, thats like walking in and introducing urself simply as mister. I am mister.
@theartema Ahh I didnt know that. I did know that the doctor was spose to be imprevious to extreme temperatures tho. That was explored during the Tom baker years where they went to the arctic and while sara was busy whining as usual aboiut the cld the Doc didnt give a shit.
@theartema And you know this because...? (Not saying you're wrong, just I never knew that, and there's not a whole lot I miss. So I was just wondering)

@bluejeckett
Typical plot designs for for Doctor Who.
1. The TARDIS is lost. Get it back.
2. History is in danger, fix it.

I love how, when ever he says "I'm the Doctor" the person who he says it too gets this really confused look on their face =]

It looks really hot on that ship. Why does the Doctor always insist on wearing his suit jacket?
thGothicHobbit 2 years ago 27
@thGothicHobbit Because the internal temp of a Time Lord is around 60°F. He doesn't mind extreme heat or cold all that much.

I wondered about that, too. Thanks :)
