IMHO, Adamiro is trying to make PIU popular in a land full of DDR/ITG machines. Caling Kyle to make the spetcharts and using his musics would attract ITG (and DDR) players to pump it up.
Also I noticed in another video 'Love is a Danger Zone' difficulty in crazy was lowered compared to the insane version found in Pump Zero. (still to hard for me XD)
They fixed that. They included the Another in there by accident at first (which stars out super easy and ends with the gay run) Now the super hard one is in with all it's hard 159 goodness
those are the original Premiere 2 steps to the song. It was only in Exceed 2 that they introduced the hold step gimmick in it. The end part of the chart is just the all wild Division Mode chart copied over the end.

The game is honestly just ITG3 shoved into 5 panel mode... I mean, it LOOKS nice, and im sure it plays fine, but it just not needed.

he's probably refering to the random background animations and the fact that it's percentage based scoring instead of mostly combo.
Also the holds don't work like Pump it Up but they don't work like DDR either... so yeah.
The step chart itself looks much like something that would be in Pump it Up.
