  • Cute Fish :3

  • yours is the most interesting video on entire youtube

  • i have 6 goldfish and two of these algae cleaning fish in my tank right now, a ten gallon that is. I'm wondering if i need a bigger tank? im trying to grow them to 8+ inches

  • Is it still alive?

  • @Dimunic

For the most part. It could have just been a benign tumor, but the the man who posted this video said it was cancer. It didn't look as if it had spread yet.

  • @Dimunic

Like I said, that's cancer, not fin rot. Fin rot doesn't cause it to swell and form lumps like that. I've had cancer myself, so I think I know what I'm talking about.

  • thank goodness your fish is still alive and cancer free ^_^ happy days!

  • Fish cancer? Really? This video is very old, too, did the cancer get cured or did old fishy die?

  • Watch his other videos. This might seem really gross, but the fish actually SHOOK the cancer off of his tail. He's doing good now, so :D

  • That must have hurt to shake hard enough to remove flesh...

  • u no the other video 14 years fish shakes cancer off his tail does that mean his cancer has gone?

  • awe :( did the fish die or is he/she still alive?

  • He's alive, there's no more cancer

  • you are good fish owner if you have a gold fish that lasted 14 years. all mine lasted only 14 weeks.

  • i've never ever sent you a message.

  • dont go trolling this fish is kept wrong its a pound fish for starters or need at least e 2 and half meter tank, becuase there long distant swimmers, look at the eyes of the fish anit looking happy i can tell, this one aint happy en the tail looks disformd, en he has grwon a tumor on de disformation of the finn, aint happy!!!!!! i no my shit as it comes to goldfish

  • learn to spell so you don't sound like a whiny 7 year old. the tail doesn't look deformed to anyone fuckhead.

  • The fish it self isn't deformed, but his tail has a tumor on it. Just like people, fish get tumors. Sometimes they are benign sometimes malignant. Unfortunately this goldfishes tumor is malignant.

But, you've got to remember, this video was taken 3 years ago.

  • its diformd because of the tank is to smal singel tailde goldfish ARE NOT tank fish, its a verry common mistake , the need 70 liters of water at least each fiss, the also need a large tank of 1,50 meter+ in lenght

  • deformed? it looks like one of the nicest fish on youtube to me. people need to open their eyes and stop letting children log on to their youtube accounts without parental supervision.

  • cool looking fish but i wanna know how did you get him so big i have a 30 gallon tank and the fish i have are lionhead oranda and 2 pearlscale any tips?

  • tip-wise, i cleaned the tank out once a week and fed him those floating pellets everyday & i stuck my hand in the tank often to give him a tickle. gotta keep him entertained. i hope that might help.

  • @raydourque LOL. a tickle.

  • @raydourque lol give him a tickle love that lol

  • boring

    ? no interesting lol

  • aww im sorry your fish has cancer. i have a betta who has grown a tumor also, but he's still alive and swimmin :)

  • wow thats amazing, how could u keep one for so long. i love goldfishes, theyre so pretty

  • they can live up to abought 20 years the oldest was 49 years old!!!

  • idky people think goldfish only live a few months i have had over 100 fish in my time and the one that lived the longest was my first fish it lived for 5 years....and it WAS a goldfish!

  • they can ive up to 20 in a good tank

  • It's probably because people are stupid, and too ignorant to do some research before they get a pet. As gold fish lovers, we know what it really takes to keep them. Most people think that those little bowls are acceptable, which we all know is bullshit.

  • doesn't look like a bowl to me four eyes. any ignoramus that calls themselves swallowchlorox has got to be an expert eh? the only thing that is bullshit here is what lies between your ears.

  • Comment removed

  • my gold fish is 34 feeder fish and its huge i bouhgt 2other feeder fish and there tank broke soo i put them in with the big one and i ate one of them =S but its still going strong hopefully it will make it to 40 =[)

  • U ate one?0

  • Tail cancer?!

  • i also got feeder fish to keep and its lived for a year so far. no problems yet=D

  • ive had 2 feeder fish for 9 years =)

  • It's not boring. It gives me hope to see that a goldfish can make his 14th birthday ='[

My fishy has a broken tail now, I am already happy is he/she live a few years more.. =/

  • his/her tail will grow back i had a fancy that had his tail eaten all the way to the end and then it grew back in months the vet even said he had a nice tail???

  • man, watching these videos really wanna make me get one XD

  • my 21 year old goldfish died yesterday which sucks, i was hoping he would live longer, and im glad your fish is doing better now ray, may he live for another 10 years or more XD

  • This video isnt boring i find it facinated that it is 14 years old, my common goldfish from the funfair lived till 12 years old. I have 6 goldfish now but only had them for a few months

  • pretty Goldfish

  • I'm so glad to hear he's doing well, what a cutie pie, just look at that face...and his coloring is beautiful :)

  • nice fish it is a fan tail isn't it.

i have a standard goldfish he is 15 years old called flipper he is 7 inches long lol. click onto mi username and go to the vid pictured with the fish and take a look.

if you have any question about him then tell me and i will try to answer them.

  • I'm not sure what he is other than a feeder goldfish. i bought him for 10 cents about 14 or 15 years ago to feed one of my Oscars with but he looked like a bit of a charmer, so i kept him.

  • cool i have 10 goldfish but the biggest one is only about an inch long!P.S. NICE VID!!!

  • What do you mean he has tail cancer? Will he die of it?

  • He has had a lump growing on his tail for many years and it grew to be quite large this year until he shook it off in february. the broken tail bled for a few hours and then it started to grow back over the next few weeks and now he's doing quite well

  • Aww!!!

  • That's not boring, nice goldfish. The video is rather to short.

  • Very nice fish you have. What size tank is that? Anything you can recomend that i should do to get my fantail goldfish that big?

  • Thank you. It's a 15 Gallon tank. I think that because he is the only fish in there, he grew to a pretty decent size. Maybe eating fish pellets gives better size than eating fish flakes?

  • what is good goldfish food that make them grow fast big and healthy but dont cost that much

  • how did you get ur fish to live for so long.?. do you like have any tips.?.

  • I've fed him Nutra Fin Max Colour Enhancing Pellets his whole life and I change the water every week and have never had to worry about pH levels at all. But these things might also have somehow led to him getting the growth on his tail.

  • oo well if he lived that long you must have done something right XD my fish has TB so it's prolly gunna die soon T_T

  • Wow i never knew there was a such thing as tail cancer. Not a boring vid i like ur fish :)

  • Hey I like fish much as everyone does! That specie of fish is a redcap oranda. They'll live longer if you take great oh i mean great care of them. For example: a goldfish can live up to 5 years. They'll live longer if you take good care of them.Like 5+.Still a nice video.

  • Actually that looks a comet. Quite a lovely one at that. It's not a red cap oranda. An oranda has two tails and a head growth called a wen. With good care it's quite common for some goldfish to live well into their teens and even twenties. Five yrs is practically adolescence for a goldfish.

  • I think he is a comet. He was part of a group of 10 feeder goldfish I bought for less than a dollar at the time. Most of them got too big and I gave them away to good homes. A couple even gave birth to eggs that were sticking all over the tank. He is still doing very well and the cancer is 3 times the size now unfortunately.

  • and it's still alive? my god fish lived for like 3 days xD

  • I am envious of you fish... are you aware of the magic that is around you everyday of your life? i wouldn't mind being in the tank with you to watch such a thing and love the hand that feeds you.

  • lol. Feed it some Guppies! He can fit em in his mouth! jk thats cruel. lol

  • That's not boring at all I love the idea that a fish can grow to such an age. He looks to be a pretty good size too. Any news about the tail cancer?

  • Thank you. He seemed to not feel well when I tried adding different medicine into the water and when I simply change the water with no additives, he swims around very happy, so I figured I'd just let him be. He's still very zippy.

  • I've tried a few things but I can't get rid of it for him.

  • fish get cancer?

  • can you quit the cancer?

  • nice boring video!
