YES i was there, right behind the aussie goals, my brother-in-law was doing security work for Chubb security and he got us the best tickets, man when Azizi ran into the crowd, me and my cousin rushed down to hug him. One of the greatest days.

yes i agree that iran is as good as korea and japan in quality but iran does not do it in big tournaments iran does not deliver its full potential they havent not made the round of 16 in a world cup they have only won one world cup game and only drawn 2 and lost 6 in asian cup they havent made a final since 1976 but they have had only 1 round 1 exit which is very good with about 5 3rd places

im not saying where invicnable im just saying there is no a team in asia that can beat us when we are playing well, australia could struggle with the conditions but they should adapt. Japan has won the last 2 asian cups and we beat them 3-1 but really we should of beaten them 3-0 but what im worried about is japan china korea etc taking dives and milking frees because we are a physical side i hope iran and socceroos meet but go the socceroos

but what your forgetting is that last time we played it ws 97 that is a long time ago we have alot better team now n iran have a good team but they arnt at the level of viduka kewell cahil bresicano vinie grella and lucas neill when they are playing good it will take australia a game to get use to the differnt condtions but you will see in the end how fit we are and how we will be able to run over teams like we did againest japan australia are clear favourites go socceroos
