@roejogan8 uh little shit? either that was suppose to be funny or insulting, i cant really tell since i didnt do anything for u to get riled up. And since you were correcting my grammer I assumed you should correct me through a complete sentence... not a broken one, which is what i meant by ur rather obvious error. I wasnt being condescending or anything, mightve came out that way :{D
Anyone ever notice that lack of Jonny in pro shot videos (for this song). In most pro shot videos I just see either a quick shot of him, or a shot of something else unimportant. The Jools Holland performance gave a good view.
yeah, i heard him slip-up too when he transitioned, i thought for a second i was hearing things because everyone was like saying it was amazing...
but he got right back in right away and played it cool like a PRO! and hey, it ain't easy to go from one different part of a solo in 4/4 to another, in 7/8 ;)
it probably sucks to you because it's unique and something you don't normally hear in solo's but that's what makes it so kick ass...it's abstract!!!!!
i really want a tele too, but my bro who is a way more experienced musician than me says it has a really country/western sound and I'm not into that but from the reviews i here its got more like a quintessential rock sound.
Same here. Except i think hes alot more technical than most people think. I mean he modifies his own guitars, so that when he does that solo he dislocates the bridge and hammers it out which is how he gets that sort of ghost..eery high pitched squeal.
And how he turns everything to 11 and starts to solo with his hoodie strings. Thats immense. But yeah a phenomonal artist whos incredibly under rated :/
Upgrade your pickups to the Lace Sensors Johnny uses , add a killswitch , then start playing guitar , learn what scales he uses the most , analize he's songs etc.
thanks... i apreciate your comment. Paranoid Android is one of my favorite songs, im not saying jonny greenwood is a bad guiarist, im not taking credit off of such an awsome and powerful composition, and im a huge radiohead fan too... however, the solo went wrong and messy, that´s a fact, jonny greenwood have a collection of mess up situations live, check out on youtube.. . . leave your sack of bollocks back and try to have an open view mate, it´s kind of cool...
But listen to how quickly he recovers. He's straight back in on time. All musicians make mistakes now and again; being able to get right back into the music after a slight slip-up is a real skill, and Jonny Greenwood has it down to a tee.
el mejor guitarrista sin duda

i really want a tele too, but my bro who is a way more experienced musician than me says it has a really country/western sound and I'm not into that but from the reviews i here its got more like a quintessential rock sound.
but jonny does play one so i might have tooo.
whats your opinion on it?
Soxkse 2 years ago
yes but the tele of jonny is a tele plus is diferent
superfilmaker 2 years ago
pfft, your bro doesnt know that much then. What does he play? Metal? A tele can cover alot of ground, especially with a pick up change!

So how do I get my Telecaster to sound like Jonny's? Step by step now. You seem knowledgable.

Jonny would sound like Jonny even if he used a squier tele. Tone is in the hands and technique.
DJBkrabi 2 years ago 18
But the Standard Telecaster does do a lot for tone and comfort.

one of my fav solos of all time. I love that he's just wailing here without any concern.

Yall are idiots.
This solo is amazing,
No solo can be classified as messy,
If so then Kurt Cobain sucked.
Johnny is honest the most innovative person ive ever met

yeah you're right, kurt's solos were terrible but extremely awesome!! jonny's are amazing as well!
