  • very nice can you tell me what your going to use it on

  • Hey mate,

Whats the angle between your sensors?

Also which type are you using?

  • @BestUsernameEverMade

    17.14 degrees, Honeywell ss411a sensors.

You will get better results if you glue them in the stator slots, every 4th slot: c.o. Endless Sphere dot com "adding hall sensors to outrunners" page 1

  • Looks nice! What hall sensors did you use? Very smooth low rpms.

    Erik

  • Great job! Which sensored controller did you use?

    Regards David

  • I am working on the same type of system for my 5 inch gauge train. Can I ask, what is the startup smoothness like on a load?

  • I have a Turnigy 63-74 outrunner motor. For 60 degree hall sensors setup:

    63mm x 3.14 = 197.82mm - 197.82 / 6 = 32.97mm - 32.97mm / 2 = 16.485mm between each sensor.

    Is it right?

  • there are monopolar sensor or bipolar sensor?

  • Very nice and original hall placement. I have a couple of the same motors and am going to install halls in them as well. Both of them are going to my scooter :) 20Ah 64V A123 battery on it's way :)

  • @circuitdotlt How much you paid for the battery?
