man oh man! what inspiration. I just lost my fretting index finger down to the first joint, and am devistated that i wont be able to play my guitar, but after watching your video I am inspired beyond belief...Thanks
Holy crap man! You KILL! That's amazing. I have never met you, but I heard about you before your accident...what? 25 years ago? I had heard you ripped note-for-note Ulrich Roth and Michael Schenker, Alex Lifeson and knew some people who knew you. I wanted to meet you, but never did. When I heard about your accident I was heartbroken. Then I heard you're still great! And you are...this is articulate, very fine bluesy melodic playing, and it sheds light on fingers vs. intentionality. Cheers!
Steve- I don't know if you remember me......you taught my brother Jeff and I quite a few guitar riffs back in the early 80's....your brother just sent me these links. You still kick ass! Thanks for being a great mentor at guitar playing. Charlie
Dude I could have cried when I lost my left ring finger finger. I converted to Bass but now you have inspired me to pick up the 6 string again....Cheers
Damn, It's got to be tough without that index finger. I'm missing pinky ring and middle on my left and middle and thumb on my right and converted to playing left handed. I really rely on my indexes. Outstanding job.

I practice without using my index finger, as a strengthening exercise. You've really sound great, I know how hard bending with the pinkie is!
