I love this Movie. First Love, Found and then Lost. The persistance of a young person to hold on to that first love in hopes that it will be returned again, and the dissapointment that is gone 4ever... not many of us find first love and get to keep it. Your lucky if you do. i can relate to this Film n its meaning.

The bell around 6:00 was what made the entire thing for me.

I used to hear this same chime off in the distance, where I used to live. No one in my family knew where it came from. It didn't seem like such a big thing when I lived there, it was just something that I got used to.

I visited a few years ago, though, and was keenly aware of a lack of bell ;_;

I think the part with the cat during the flashback was a reference to The Girl and her Cat are however that is titled. It's a OVA by the same person who created this.

It is a movie, its just split into 3 parts, in total its about an hour long. They jsut releaed the parts at different times online for people outside of Japan.
