thanks but like everyone says it's about power under the the curve is important too, this car had fast burn heads that were port matched and a decent cam and a 3 9/16th stroke to mch like the modern ls1 based engines. It was ok for the time, I ran that on nitto's, I'd like to see a pass on this car! my friend Joe has a 2001? vette with a big stroker and I am pretty sure he has low500's to the wheel
Why did you toss in a ls2??? You can make or make over 450whp and 415wtq with just a cam and ported 243's and maybe a Fast 90 setup on a LS6

456 is outstanding for the motor. my 91 made 367whp and I ran 12.0@117 this car should knock down 11.25@125

456 RWHP! *That's slightly more than the C6 Z06 averages on the dyno. A (125 mph) trap speed sounds about right for this application. Very nice!
