I think I can make out most of the Latin, but I'm missing a few words.

"Audes in regem Aegypti..." (sounds something like "contineliam iacere," but I can't find "continelia" in the dictionary).

I think they called him an ape, like Cleo said, and then made fun of him for taking advice from his daughter and/or servant.

@Alexiandria1990 it's true,it was harsh that time in Eqypt. in the book,Berenice became pharoah but didnt know her father was alive or something and when they came back to Egypt,her father punished Berenice by having her executed meaning having her head chopped off.

@FetketBC Huh??? sure cleopatra was of macedonian decent (not black/native african) but Egypt IS a country in Africa, and she was born there and spent her entire life dwelling there. so if your point was that her familial origins lie outside the African continent you're correct...but if you're insinuating that she herself and the Ptolemaic rulers before her were not African born royalty the you really need to do some internet research yourself.

Just because they're not a sub-Saharan race doesn't mean they're not Africans. Southern Africa is where the black people resided and Northern Africa is where, what we would call today, the Arabs resided. There were, obviously, Egyptians that were black. But the majority of the Egyptian population wasn't.
