I believe this is a cut from "Indianola Mississippi Seeds," half of which is produced by Carole King, and on which she plays piano, the other half of which is produced by Leon Russell, ditto. I believe this is one of the Carole King tracks, and the strings remind me an awful lot of another C. King collaboration, with Aretha, "Natural Woman..."
Anyone know if it's the same arranger?
Maybe even the same arranger as the string writer on "Haven't Got Time For The Pain" by C. Simon?
Algun fan de bb king me podria decir de un blues en el que cuente la historia de un tipo que por celos mató, baby, en Memphis, Tennessee.. si me pueden ayudar graciaas!!
I bought this album, when I was in high school. The cover was lime green, with the names of the musicians. Ringo Starr was the drummer and his headline was,"Ringo Starr, a very nice drummer." The cover was really weird looking. This tune (Ghetto Woman), was on it. Caldonia and my mom used to listen to it with me. Great piece of work.
Rats run across the floor, roaches on the wall.. Not to many men would go to a house like that.. But this tune gives me the shivers.. Big Big Tune.. Thanks to the person who posted this..
the best blues player ever there will never ever be another B.B. King not one in a million hes like other icons once in a life time. great song 5 stars
Did the song "Ghetto Woman" come from that classic 1973 B.B. King album "To Know You Is To Love You"?(Originally released on ABC Records, and reissued on MCA Classics)
