Actually as I've been thinking about all of this. Our government was INTENDED to be self government. Each and every individual was SUPPOSED to be sovereign in their property. That was the whole intent of the framers thinking and mindset.

Agreed. Another key reason VG's are not ideal is because they would take away focus from certain specializations in the marketplace. A business that focuses on providing 1000 services instead of 5 , is in many cases going to become cumbersome and less efficient. VG's would likely suffer this same problem. A totally free society can develop perfectly well without governments or "VGs" but "VGs" might be a good concept to introduce to people who can't quite grasp that..
