Phil is getting rusty and slightly off-key, and in the end there is and can never be ANY EW&F without Mr. M... he was above all the band and gave it that special magic that ranged for almost two decades. EW&F has not socalled "reinvented" themselves, and I guess they shouldn't as that would in the end be sac-religious. Without Maurice White there is no Earth Wind & Fire. So let us rejoice and REMEMBER!

OMG!!! This is great. With a full blown orchestra behind them. I have loved this song for over 25 years.

I saw them perform this song live when EW&F toured with Chicago. This version is just as good if not a little better. The Bass player is one the electricifing performers in the music business. No gimmicks, just pure talent.

In spite of all issues, this is an impressive performance. We must consider the fact that all guys are not that fit like 40 years ago! But, their enthusiasm is something amassing and I love it. I regret that I was not enjoying this performance, on the other hand, just few hours ago I enjoyed a dinner with one of Nobel Prize winners 2010.

Amazing performance. I cannot believe how high that man can sing (Maurice White?) The balance thing is a valid point but remember the engineers had to balance a band with an entire orchestra - not the easiest of tasks!

FIRST Fantasy is my FAVORITE song by The Elements! From the introduction, Verdine's THUMPING FUNKY BASS licks to the Shouting VAMP at the end by Philip "The Voice" Bailey! I've heard these cats for the first time LIVE here in Little Rock, AR for our Riverfest & was BLOWN AWAY! But this performance, has to be the BEST version of Fantasy I've ever heard!!!! EWF with a FULL ORCHESTRA = instant chills! Also @ukijhu97...you may wanna listen to this from my PS3 and Home Theatre...totally great sound!

@Dellerss I'm not deaf. You can't hear the piano intro, the whole thing is really static, it seems like many instrument mics are short circuited and during the performance there's loads of acoustic feedback though thats not your fault.

Live show with probably a hundred mics, in a venue that sucks...Seriously, I don't think it could possible be done much better. There is a huge difference between studio and live after all.

No one has 6 and an half octave range- sorry. Ask those, who offer lessons in singing. But also a range of more than 4 octaves is remarkable. I think Yma Sumac had a range like this. Patti Labelle has it probably, too. A main thing is the clean change from chest voice to falsetto/head voice. Only few peaople manage this.
