  • I train sprinting with kbands and it does limit your form when you sprint. better for other uses in my opinion

  • the bands do restrict technique espeacially for the sprinters with a stride.

  • @GAchehvy02 The resistance level is designed to allow you to stay in good form and technique. The restriction level is based on the strength level of each athlete and will expand as the athlete gets stronger. Stronger legs, hips and core helps with speed and athletic performance.

    And those bands.. i dont know what to say, its just killing techique, dont use that if you want to be best.

    And trust me, i know what im talking about, im a proffesional sprinter... :)

  • I thank you so much.. My daughter is 10yrs old and she's a sprinter and her events are 100, 200 and 400mm dash, Javalen and long jump.. Her time in the 100 is 14:39 which is real good.. Thanks to you and your instructional videos.. She's too young to lift weights and I needed someone to help with her conditioning and looked up your videos from a coach on a rival team.. LOL! But all okes aside thanks again..

  • you know people do these drills, i must have good genetics or something, i was doing squats, lunges, and cleans, and i was getting ok results, but when i stopped doing them and just played basketball i gained more vertical and more speed... idk maybe its just me..

  • Their technique is discussing, most likely because of the bands.

  • @Serbocop666 They are working on strength, power, speed and explosion. The bands provide resistance. The work very hard on their technique and this is a very successful program.

  • @myosource If this program does incorporate resistance, which is does, it is impossible for them to be developing speed as they are not running at a high intensity. Also, by explosion you mean power....obviously, which means you repeated yourself...or you have no clue what so ever. I suggest you give up on training these kids, as you will destroy them,...you have no clue....I couldn't help noticing that all these kids are black, is this some kind of movement? You posers remind me of natzis.

  • I need to get these for my son. He's going intermediate next year and I want him ready. He needs to work on his stride and I know this will help him. I'm proud to say he was able to come in 6th in the USATF Region 3 event this past weekend. Didn't make it to Cali but it's ok. He had a killer season regardless.

  • @karinaacarbajal1 we suggest using the bands 3-4 times a wekk for 10-15 minutes. use them during training drills, event training, stretch , cool down. you can rotate the way you use them .

  • How can I get a set of bands? I run a 21sec 200m nd a low 10sec 100m. I wnt 2 break 20sec and 9sec.

  • I use to sprint from HS through 21. I'm 45 and trying to get into senior sprinting contests. Where do you find these bands and do you do uphill sprinting? We did mostly that but I would very much like to see your opinion. Your kids are great and look like very good athletes.

  • there is no age limit in the Olympics or its 15 + i don't really know or care, just look at the gymnasts there 16 and compete.

  • olympic gymnasts are min 16 yrs of age with the exception of the bejing olympics where the chinese probably put 13 or 14 yr olds in

  • I personally have not seen her in the olympic records, but like i said before there is no age limitation in the olympics except for certain sports, and that does not include triple jump...

  • @JPlesley If she's not competing in an Olympic sanctioned event (ie. because she is too young) then why would you see her with an Olympic record? That makes no sense. I, for example, could run a 9.80 100 in high school but according to you it's not a true 9.80 unless you do it in the Olympics?

  • how can you prove it then? because someone sais so? there are regional records, (in canada) provincial records and national records. Show me those maybe ill believe you then. But hey listen im not trying to start a fight here ok, just 21 feet is what olympic athelets are doing and ive competed on the provincial level and still never saw anyone jump nearly that far.

  • No. You can start with them and work you way up. We have beginners and athletes as young as 6 that use them. You can train at whatever level works for you.

  • Lets say i run a 11.6 100. If i use these occassionally in 2 months could i hit a sub 11 and lower?

  • We believe your times would go down with consistent training. I would not want to say by how much because each athlete is different in work ethic and ability. reducing your time by over a half second would be a great goal and we know the bands could help you reach that goal .

  • I would strongly suggest you get back in the game, plus continue your educations. Most professional athletes do not hit their stride until mid to late 20's. the key would be to start now working on conditioning and not try to go to fast with training. work your way slowly back in conditioning and go for it.

  • if you want to get faster and faster...get these its as simple as that..to me they have worked better than a big parashute that i used and better then a 50 pound wt vest that i used..im a football player and this is the main reason how i run a 4..35 with alot of training... coach mcqueen this is the best invention for speed ever.

  • Yes. we suggest repeating the same drills without the bands. possibly 2-3 sets with the bands and 2-3 without.

  • Hello im long distance runner i guess i have slow twitch muscle tissue or something. I can run forever but i cant run fast like that and i cant jump 21 feet for my life. If i do this will i be able 2 run as fast. Cze ill train all day if i have 2.

  • lmao dam son...srry im a sprinter but i feel u though as a long distance i kno a lot of them......but u have great stamina u should be happy.

  • If u want to be able to run fast simply do 80 metter sprints were you reach your maximum volicity ie trying ur hardest... Keep doing that and you will get quicker as your body will adjust to that running position and it will become seconda nature.

    The bands sort of remind me of what bruce lee used at one point for his speed and power training for punches. You would see it in cartoons now a days as like a chest to arm device with metal springs. Same Effect

    Besides from that I loved it. It has a different twish on things you can do to become faster. It is always good to introduce the body to something different.

  • You will see and fell improvment in the first 3-4 training sessions. They key is training for speed, power, explosion, core strength, balance and endurance.

  • we suggest you use the green bands for more range of motion. i.e. sprints etc. or when you want more range of motion.

    the red bands should be more for stretching and short spints and drills. you can also use the green and red together for increased work for strenght, power and explosion.
