@DEGOODG i've had the good fortune of playing through a couple of these - both were '64 grey panel versions but the same control layout. they were the two best amps i've ever played through. everything you do to the guitar is amplified with amazing clarity and detail. i've not found another amp that "feels" quite as natural to play through as these old AC30s do.
the problem now is, i NEED one, because nothing else is adequate anymore. lol.
Am I the only guy in the world who thinks the normal channel is so much better than the top boost? I love hearing more of the 84s and less of the AX7s. More attack I think?
@AlexJooris Nice. I have the same brown burst finish you see in this vid. Except mine has the grover tuners. When the light hits the bottom of the guitar you can see an immaculate vertical grain under the finish. it's a 2001 model Standard of course. The only Les Pauls I like. No others will quite do in my book.
..love the way the low E mutes sound a little loose and bouncy while the mids and highs cut really well yet so smoothly.(and that's with reissue el84's even) You did a nice job in capturing the AC30 tone.
@solerso68 hey im just wondering what use you would have for a guitar amplifier, much less a 50 year old tube amp...does it sound real dope when you plug your "lil phatty" into it?
a good example of perfect rock tones all amps should sound this good but sadly they don't notice no icy picky tones even though it can sound sharp it always shimmers and has a nice warm depth with clarity as well
Pure quality! Only Fender of the same era could hold a candle to these clean/distorted sounds. The Edge/Bryan May use this exact amp and they can afford anything...need I say more. You can hear every rock 'n roll sound in this.

Awesome tone bro!! I have a Valvetech Hayseed 15 on the way, which is essentially a copy of a '62 AC15. Can't wait!

Fantastic tone and playing! This is not a Top Boost model is it? The brilliant channel has more than enough overdrive without TB. Happy New Year.
