  • that was working well

  • copper is going into solution. that's why it's turning blue, which means this is an inefficient o2 generator

  • i've made smaller.

  • water is not blue man, there is a blue device on the back side and it is a blue tinge reflection over the glass tin. ;)

  • hey... does this produce both hydrogen and oxygen? and when it turns blue.. does it make copper sulfate then?

  • @antiswattt yes yes and yes

  • what can u use this gas for ?

  • BOOOOM!!! that sorta thing.......

  • no but what do ppl use this for ?

  • You idiot this is not, I repeat not a Oxygen/Hydrogen generator. By using salt (Sodium Chloride) the Chlorine and Hydrogen are released (at a lower voltage). Which combine on contact. If no salt were used and no chlorine were in the water then it would be a hydrogen and oxygen generator, but as you already know it takes more voltage to "show up" than releasing H2 and Cl2. Lookup Electrochemistry to learn the voltages needed. It takes 2 half reactions , one for each electrode.

  • well then explain this to me like i'm a 2 year old, does it do the same thing, by using salt, does it still produce hyrdogen? and if so what do you think the limitations would be by making it to a bigger scale? because this guy is just using copper, what if it was actually stainless steel? possible much?

  • i dont care about your mumbo jumbo explaination, it just looks cool

  • this is the most coolest hydrogen generator i have ever seen, simple and easy

  • that is cool how the water turns blue.

  • if you want to make more hydrogen use salt

  • now make a lighter out of it
