as per his autobiography, the lyrics were inspired by the surreal moment he knew he'd overcome his alcoholism illness. In rehab for 3/4th time, he was in total anguish, when suddenly he dropped to his knees at his bedside and prayed for a full recovery. And it came.

@CMSpida this song is him asking for help. he was struggling with an alcohol addiction. at that point he had reached rock bottom. he wanted help. this was before he went back to rehab again. read his book. it explains :) not tryin to start a fight. just sayin. :D

@CMSpida Its about that fact that nothing was going right in his life, his kid had just died as well as other things and as that other guy said, if you read his book it tells you. This song saved him from drugs.
