How did you do family devotions when your kids were little?

Parents who aren't christians teach their kids stuff the same way even if they don't sit a book down in front of their kid. It's in the every day conversations they have with them, the things they allow them to do or not do, the things they make fun of in front of their kid, or the things they bring to their kid's attention to show them "This is what I think is important." Even if a parent tells a kid they can make up their own mind about things, that is them teaching their kids THEIR way.

Daddy gets out a big book and starts the religious indoctrination... He is being brainwashed like you were when you were a kid... Your a dirty sinner who is unworthy to be accepted by the creater of the universe unless you believe this book and follow this church, never question it, or eternal torture awaits you..... Yeah, that doesnt sound like brainwashing techniques to me... It sounds like a nice loving god..

Yes! Let's brainwash our kids before they can think for themselves by telling them a fairy tale book is all true! Woo! I heard that one other story about Humpty Dumpty is true as well, even though I can't see him or God, I know they're real, because someone told me they are, so I just go with it! Woo!
