OMG ! He is putting soo much life in it! I play it to, but not that well... This guy is really good, he should never stop playing! I'd like to hear him play de 1st and 2nd movement too, even if the 3rd is my favorite!
Amazing, im 13 and im playing this peice now, I started playing piano two years ago. I would've loved to heard the 1st and 2nd movement in this however. Still great!
He is brillaint ;) I know someone who's 9 and he can play. They can play hard songs, but sometimes, they're not expressive :( It's not bad, they still have years to get it! If you can see David, he's not moving much, and he looks monotonous. Other than that, A+++++
This is just a 10 year old. Emotions can only come with time as he grows older, much older than he's now perhaps when he becomes an adult even. I had the same criticism when i was 10, and my reaction at the time was: what is emotion? How do i do it? Show me please.
Antlerbone: Emotions is like your feelings. When you feel you want to play loud, play loud. Dynamics, and also movement of the body. Watch Murray Perahia play on Youtube. such a talented boy. But if you don't mind me saying so, some of his peices lack the emotional value that most piantists value while playing. If you don't love what you're playing, then it just becomes sound, and has no emotion that makes it music. He plays brilliantly though, absolutely Spectacular.
@Elva456 I don't think many children gain the sense of 'emotion' for music till much later. It's impressive that he can play at this level with only 3 years of practice. If he keeps it up, he'll eventually learn to work the emotion into his music with his already more than adequate technique.
Well played.
I don't agree with the comments saying it lacks emotion, what it lacks is a sense of humour.
But 10 years old can be srs bznz you know, give the kid a break.
Excellent!
